Do you buy Manga digitally or physical copies ?
Posted 3/31/15
I own physical copies from volume one to volume 11 of Attack On Titan.
I am also going to buy today from volume 1 to volume 10 of Nisekoi but digitally because of pace.

So my question really is what do you prefer using over the other and why ?

I prefer physical. I find it better than reading online, well except with manga that really pops online like One Punch Man. I own almost 400 vol and love looking at them all lined up. They may not be as cheap as online, but I feel better with they are part of reality.

I prefer having a book myself so I buy physical copies. I'm a collector of video games and cards so I only find it fitting to do the same with books. Oh and also it's easier to take a book to bed than take a desktop PC

Physical all day, any day. I don't like reading on a computer screen.

Physical copies just because I prefer reading in the original language.

I read manga almost solely on my Kindle. Saves space.

I read electronic versions of just about everything these days.

I have half a dozen book-shelves in my apartment already, all of them are full, and my wife won't let me buy more. Manga volumes--especially for longer series--take up way more space than I have room for.

In my ideal world, I'd get to have both.. physical for my shelves, since I love being able to walk down them and pick something out when I'm not sure what to read, but digital for travelling...

Long term, I'm guessing digital is the way to go, though. Really does save space, I don't mind paying for it, and most of the digital licenses let me share it across multiple devices, which is handy again when travelling, in case I run out of things to read that I'd tried to bring with me.

I get physical rather than digital, since with digital if I want a certain scene I would need to really know the volume and the chapter name and number, but with physical I can just grab and look through it until I find what I want. Also like the way it looks on my bookshelf.

Physical. I tried digital, but doesn't seem to be the same..I can't explain why I think physical is better, I just like it.

I wish a digital copy would come with the purchase of a physical, i would leave the physical on the shelves and just read the digital.

I don't own much manga mine is all physical. I don't like the idea of not owning the physical copy. I haven't switched over to digital for American comics either. I want to be able to hold this stuff in my hand when I am old and flip through the pages.
