If you understand how an alarm and immobilizer works then your set. But doing a remote starter kill will elude most thief's. Not the ones only alarms those are the easiest to steal. Its like second nature to them. ...Hmm this car has an alarm. I bet you the brain is on the steering column. ..Wow!..there it is...a minute later they have your car...On my car I made mines a little complicated. I have the fog light switch setup as my starter kill, my off setting on my fan as my fuel pump kill and 2nd fan setting for connection. Hell..can they still steal my car? yes if they have a tow truck. Can they get it started? Sure if they can figure out how i wired my car but i doubt they will have the luxury of time and patience to figure it all out. But the big thing is..I leave my car in the garage. |

There are hidden switches all over the place to cut off the fuel, disconnect the battery, etc. I actually hid most of them under the carpet and they are thin surface switches so you can't see them at all. The only way I know they are on is a set of unlabeled micro LED's I installed in the dash. So when I get out of the car I just step in a few places where I know the switches are until I see the LED's on the dash turn off. From there if someone wants to steal my car the only way is with a tow truck. So far this setup has prevented two cars of mine from being stolen. |
