A Better Synopsis S1 / S2

Plot Summary: Koharu is recruited into an unusual "groping" club only for the reason that she doesn't overlap with the other members' characters. Groping club is in fact an unofficial club with no real activity or purpose, prompting the girls to work on finding one. Strange daily life ensues, where club activities consist of first coming up with club stereotypes, then figuring out a new way to operate such a club.

I see some tough comments already on the show page!

You might have to watch S1 and S2 to get a better understanding ! It is IMPROV

I'll admit it started slow but once they got going it was oretty funny! First they are mocking anything and everything and they did one one over on the manga / anime / crossover deal!

They took the Charm crossover then reimvented the scenes

Come dont you you ever what to poke fun at an anime. In fact some are doing that in the ED or manga / anime shorts!

When they started doing the girls chest it was just a riot! Magintude 3 etc! They let loose!

EP 2

I liked S1 / S 2 a lot when it was 15 minutes and Hina , Yua , Aoi and Koharu were the show and basically they are together in the 2nd half and actually funny!

The Charm girls try to Ad-Lib thier new ideas but come up short and actually admit it! When THE TSB girls take over they do it as a Musical with them getting crazier as it goes on They do new Tennis and Baseball Clubs but not what what you would think of!

I like this Charm Girl

I rewatched and its has it's moments THE TSB girls do recaps of earlier "New Clubs" as A Musical but sing quite well and comes off as good musical numbers !

The misunderstandings are great!

H.S Musicals were never like this!

EP 3 / I am probally one of the few watching this but they have such a insight into anime tropes ! They even make fun of themselves . They are actually very brilliant at this!

So True

Their version of the Table Tennis Club / I was laughing at them cracking up! All Improv !

I suppose this must be a bit of an acquired taste given the lack of posts here? I like it. It feels more like an ad-libbed podcast with animation than anything else. It's a refreshing change from the sometimes relentless onii-san.

Kōtarō Ishidate Resigns as Director of Tesagure! 3 Anime

Ishidate recommends Kuniosa Hirama to direct remainder of series ANN News

Director and scriptwriter Kōtarō Ishidate revealed on his blog on Sunday that he has resigned as the director of the Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono: Spin-off Puru Purun Sharumu to Asobō (Tesagure! 3) television anime series as of May 20.

Ishidate said in the blog post that he has no plans to explain the reason as to why he resigned. He added, "Although I am a selfish person who likes to do things at his own pace, this is the first time that I have left a series as a director mid-way through the series." He added that he had submitted scenarios for the rest of the series early on, and was able to give directions for storyboarding and animation production, so all that's left are the final production steps such as adjusting the footage, and making special effects and background music.

Ishidate added that he has recommended writer Kuniosa Hirama as his successor to direct the remainder of the series. Ishidate apologized fans of the series and asked that fans continue to support the series even though he is now an outsider regarding the show.

Ishidate directed and wrote the scripts for Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono and Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono Encore, and he has also directed Minarai Diva, Q Transformers: Kaettekita Convoy no Nazo, and Straight Title Robot Anime. He served as scriptwriter and unit director for the gdgd Fairies series, but he did not return for the second season.

Ishidate said regarding the gdgd Fairies second season that the reason behind it wasn't because he was too busy or anything similar, but a judgement from the higher-ups. He then added, "If I make any comments on this issue, it will make problems for people in various places, so I'll just say that it's due to 'adult circumstances.'"

Crunchyroll is streaming Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono: Spin-off Puru Purun Sharumu to Asobō under the title Tesagure! 3 as it airs. The eighth episode aired on Saturday.

Lol, wow! No one is watching this show! I've never seen such a low turn out for a discussion thread

The screenshots above look hideous, I'd never watch this.

Well, it's a low-budget web-anime. Its gimmick is that it isn't scripted; the voice actresses involved come up with riffs on suggested topics based on their experience with the tropes in the industry, and that dialog they generated freely gets (crudely) animated afterwards.

It really isn't about the artwork at all, just the comedy poking fun at the state of anime in general, and ad-libbing. It's pretty much a parody of anime in general. Some of the lines are pretty funny, and some aren't; it can be kind of uneven at times.

If I had to compare it to anything, I's say it is somewhat like the style of RWBY, but more centered on comedy, without any action to speak of. But yeah, if you don't like roughly done CGI characters and deconstruction of the genre, then it probably isn't something you'd enjoy much.
