Hi All,

CR has been so bad as of late for me. Particularly with chromecast/xbone

I have 2 ISP's at home and both are just as bad.. both links 100mbps+

I am from Australia they are hosted by cloudflare by my understanding and i'm almost at breaking point.
Anyone else having these issues from Australia/sydney??

IDK if its worth the hassle any more took 1 hour to watch an episode.

Quoting from the FAQ (/help?topic=video)

Click the Start button and then click on Run (or Window+R).
In the Run window, type "cmd" without quotation marks and press Enter/OK.
When the black Command Prompt opens, type in "nslookup cp150757.edgefcs.net" without the quotation marks and press Enter.
Type "ping cp150757.edgefcs.net" without the quotation marks and press Enter.
Type "tracert cp150757.edgefcs.net" without the quotation marks and press Enter.
When those commands are done, right click anywhere in the command prompt, click Select All and press Enter to copy the text.

Such playback issues often derive from awkward routing and overloaded ISP networks. Some IPS peer badly with the backbones/our CDN.
Also, make sure that you are not using a foreign proxy when accessing our services. If you do, chances are high that you will receive your stream from a very remote location. A 100/100 line can easily turn into a 3/3 line across the Pacific or the Atlantic. The same actually happens for me here in Japan.

A thing you can try is changing your DNS provider to a public one, such as Google's (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) or OpenDNS'. This might result in you getting slightly better routing, or even a better CDN location.

I used to have buffering issues with 720p videos all the time. Now days I can play 1080p videos flawlessly. Same speeds and same location as before. Honestly I'm not even sure what fixed it so I can't really help.

Okay, it's most likely a location in Victoria. You end up in the same place for both actually. Ping and route actually look pretty good.

Which show are you watching in particular?

Yeah,

Interesting how they both end up in Telstra's network before going to akami.

I just tested a random show(aldnoah zero) to capture the IP but lately i have been catching up on one peice
