Pretty cool stuff so far. The mini episode size seems like a good way to go here and I'm eager to see the next episode.

Ahahahaha!!
That was awesome!

Animation took a bit to get used to (was cracking up at the guy running in the forest), but the monster was great. Also really liked that they had the fake Nessie (famous Nessie photo was taken of a small toy like that). Plus something is up with the professor there at the end.

Don't expect most people to like this show, but I'm certainly going to keep watching it.

The "what did I just watch/I don't know what I just watched" comments (on the CR Player Page) are ehh...a far stretch (and a little annoying to see so many of it), this is rather straight forward in that is is a suspense series with a guy tracking, or trying to prove monsters exist. Now if the "what did I just watch" is directed at the animation&art style, then I can get that somewhat if they have't seen ghost stories (the anime), but the cover art already implied this would be one of those shows with a odd art style and animation.

Its interesting to say the least, the song at the background towards the end is enjoyable, however even being a short, this series will get tanked/destroyed/&dismantled by many before it even gets started due to its animation and art style. At least from this perspective, not sure how its been received over there in JPN. At the very least it has a nice grasp on the concept of suspense, I wouldn't say great, but better than most anime of the recent years.

Episode 1: Doba

That was really interesting. The whole time I was waiting for a pop up but thank god nothing like really jumped out at you. Never watching this late at night again though.

Don't like how people are dissing the show because of the animation. Like yes it's different but that doesn't mean it isn't good. It has a eerie feel to it. Plus, they executed the suspense really well. Looking forward to more.

I like unconventional art styles in anime so I am receptive to the art/animation. People should really try new things sometimes jeez.

The story itself is the kind of trite part IMHO but it was interesting and certainly enough to make an impact as a short. Also, I like to get into the Halloween spirit in October and drink in tons of horror/suspense media this month so it's good with me. And Tomokazu Sugita appeared at the end. Definitely watching the next ep.

ep 2

I have to wonder if this will remain a monster of the week kind of show (I don't have a problem with that of course, I like the current setup so far)

Like I know the guy investigates and records the cases but doesn't seem to do anything beyond that, he doesn't kill them, he doesn't capture them etc

Kagewani EP 2 / This was much better reminded of the 1998 Godziila when Jean Reno interviews the survivor in the Hospital Room . Then Vertical Limit (K2) with that having the second highest death count after Everest!

An Yeti

The Yeti or Abominable Snowman (Nepali: mountain man") is an ape-like cryptid taller than an average human that is said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet

Episode 2: Ice Fang

Love the suspense that this show brings. It's nice. Not too bad for a short either. These little short stories are nice but probably the MC will probably end up doing something about them monsters soon enough.

Surprising how much effort they put into the music of this show.

That sea monster or whatever was pretty disgusting.

Yeah, it kinds of reminds me of Uzumaki. Never seen a werejellyfish before. Much X-Files vibes from this series and I think it's perfectly spooky viewing for October.

If you find the animation in this series ....."strange", you might be interested one of the animated cartoons that some of us grew up with.

Behold!!! Clutch Cargo, a U.S. cartoon aired on TV in 1959
