Generally speaking I'd say adults are smarter. (whether it's because of experience or other things) Doesn't mean there aren't plenty of bright youngsters around. I've met plenty and it's nice to see some take their education seriously.

I will say I find children/teenagers more annoying though. Just my opinion.

First off, I don't think it makes sense to lump children and teenagers together. Secondly, I really think it depends on what subject you are questioning them on. But for the most part, I'd say adults are smarter. It really depends, though...

It honestly depends, like everyone else is saying.

depends...this is vague in a sense because there different kinds of smart and different levels as well, for example, i was a double honor student at one the leading schools in the nation but when i speak with my step father about street related things i usually end up sounding naive to myself, academically a lot of the time teens can be smarter but with knowledge pertaining to your everyday life adults usually have a bit more knowledge. that being said, knowledge is gained through IRL experience, as another example, ive had to raise 3 kids for going on 4 years now(feeding, bathing, teaching, ect.) so you could im a rather well prepared a SMART individual with knowledge on kids.

ya get it?

Natural selection : the dumber teen / children get into trouble and die, thus the average surviving adults are barely smarter.

Depends, you have some pretty biased adults out there that don't believe in equal rights (Congress is a perfect example).

I always get a good laugh when a teenager says they are mature for their age.
