Having to tell my friends I'm watching Cute High Earth Defense Club. Getting caught watching CHEDC when there's a somewhat gay scene lmao.

I dance and sing in the kitchen while doing dishes, also, if I get stressed, I talk to myself out loud. (as long as I don't answer my-self then I'm not crazy, right?), let's see.......I also sing in the car to the radio, but I'm always alone when I do that, I can see other people looking at me though, lol

I still talk to my C14 rifle ( I've even named her Cassandra ) It's a holdover from when I was actually using a rifle for real, it was my own little good luck charm to talk to it. The way I saw it the thing was as much a member of the section as I was, after all I wasn't much good to anyone without a rifle in my hands now was I?

Haha I sing to myself all the time when I'm alone too. I do that in public sometimes when I think I'm alone, and then someone walks in and I just put on a poker face

I still hate talking on the phone with strangers and will get someone else to do it if I can (ie. ordering pizza, making reservations, etc.).

My dad used to say: "What are you going to do when you're an adult?". I told him I'd just stop ordering out for food.

My husband and I ate homemade pizza (I literally made the pizza dough and sauce from scratch) last night. No regrets - turns out it's cheaper than ordering out too.

I wouldn't say this is embarrassing, but I also have the same phobia. It especially sucks because I'm in marketing and I have to communicate with vendors sometimes. I mean, I barely like communicating with my FAMILY on the phone, let alone people I'm not close with.

As for me, I'd say I also talk to myself when I'm stressed out. If I'm mad at someone in particular, I kind of rehearse the conversation I'd have with them if being professional or being polite wasn't a thing. It's more like venting, I guess. But it does make me feel so much better.

Over time I have gotten better at it - I used to find it very difficult to order for myself at restaurants, it's just phone conversations I still have trouble with. As you said, when I'm nervous about a conversation I'm about to have or that I think I will have I rehearse it in my mind first. Even when I'm ordering take out in person I will take an extra few minutes to rehearse what I am going to say.

It's embarrassing for me when my husband gives me 'the look' because he knows I'm trying to get out of calling the person/business.
