Definitely watching Kiniro Mosaic, checking out Sound Euphonium, and skipping Tesagure. Just keep them coming, but there are some titles that have already began and nobody is broadcasting them.

For the 10,000th time ... Where is Gintama?!

Gintama is not airing until THREE DAYS from now. It is NOT a cause for worry that it hasn't been announced yet, and there is no need for every thread to be filled with people freaking out about it. You really don't need to worry so much, seeing as 1) it's a sequel to one of CR's biggest shows and therefore almost certain to be licensed and 2) almost everything gets announced less than a day before it airs. If Gintama hasn't been announced by Wednesday, then, yeah, there's a reason to freak out, but right now, chill, Gintama people.

I'm also hoping that the first and second seasons of "Tesagure" get added to the catalogue. The third season is hard to get into as it is, with all the inside jokes from the "Lady Go!!" radio show (I only got some of them because I follow three of the five VAs on Twitter). Without the other two seasons to establish the four main characters and the "meta discussions followed by ad-libbed segments" format of the show it's gonna be very off-putting for new watchers.

Wow, I was really surprised when i heard the title "Sound! Euphonium"! So i'm guessing this anime would be focused around this instrument? And I'm really liking more music animes, I really enjoy the nodame and shigatsu kimi no uso that is currently airing! I hope the music would also be awesome for this series!

Time to rant a bit...

I'm very frustated right now. Come on, Crunchyroll... This season, untill now all your non-sequel anime simulcasts are harem or ecchi anime, wich is great for those who like them but honestly I couldn't care less about these kinds of shows. Unfortunately it seem that the 'less otaku oriented anime' (to call them someway) use to be adquired by Funimation, saving Aniplex or TV Tokyo titles, wich means that it's unlikely that they'll be here ever. I' m completely sick of this last situation because Funimation is available in US and Canada only, and there aren't other anime streaming service available in Latin America where I could watch the shows picked up by Funimation. And that is not all, seeing that Funimation has been increasing its simulcast quantity little by little each season, it's seem that the things will only make worse for us, unless Funimation broke for once!

Continuing with my own rant...

Until this last winter season, Crunchyroll had been doing a great job at getting good quality anime (In the USA) and in a larger quantity, However last season it felt like they got beat pretty badly by funimation, with most of the big titles I watched having continued from Fall 2014 season (Log Horizon S2, Durarara x2 sho, AldNoah.Zero, Your Lie in April, Shirobako, etc...), and those cost some decent money to get I'm sure, and might have contributed to the weak winter season maybe. However, and I don't understand how pricing works for licenses (One time payment for X years of a show, monthly payments, etc...), but still, in order to keep business, especially with many of those shows ending with the winter 2015 season, they need to keep pulling 4-6 strong shows (Gintama, Nisekoi:, Fate/stay night : UBW) and a good amount of one cour shows to keep people coming here... what I'm trying to say is, we need two more shows that feel (Yes, I'm already counting Gintama), for lack of a better term, BIG, to keep people here, that are new to this season, especially with funi gunning for them (I really feel that $4.99 pulling me in their direction, and the fact that they have 5 shows that felt BIG (Ninja Slayers, Arslan Senki, Denpa Kyoshi, BBB, Assassination Classroom continued, etc...))... Naruto could pull some weight if they actually finished the show, instead of doing more filler, and One piece could pull a little better as well for similar reasons....

Anyways, if they could pull some awesome show out of the hat to round out Nisekoi:/Gintama/Fate/Stay Night:UBW/Food Wars, they would quell my worries as to funi trying to push them out, and even if they couldn't, I could chalk it up to to having a single weak season as long as summer 2015 had some awesomeness to it (Durarara would be back for one of its split cour, Nisekoi:/Gintama could also last that long too)

Basically: Winter 2015 was great, but that was from continuing shows and it also felt like funi beat them to the punch some, spring 2015 is looking to be a little light, definitly due to all of the stuff funi grabbed; but with benefit of doubt, but if summer 2015 feels too light then I'll really start worrying/considering switching to funi (Though they could still blow me away with some awesome fall 2015 announcements)...

I'm pretty pissed that they didn't get some of the cool anime from 2 of my favorite studios (TRIGGER, BONES) or the one from the creator of FMA, and thats probably made me feel that this spring season is lighter than it really is (Second season in a row, where my top 2-3 shows were swiped by funi).

Why not support both? The more you withdraw your support to CR, the stronger FUNi gets. People always rant that CR gets the FUNi rejects, but that's because FUNi has stronger bidding power than Sentai. Outside the PONY CANYON,Aniplex, and TV TOKYO shows, CR can only get shows provided that Sentai gets them. They can't do anything about that, unless they outbid FUNi, which rarely happens. Just look at this season, outside the sequels, the only new shows that CR have are either from Aniplex (Gunslinger Stratos, Plastic Memories), PONY CANYON (Sound Euphonium, ETOTAMA), and Showgate (Food Wars, Danmachi, Houkago no Pleaides) probably because Sentai was able to swipe the 5 Showgate shows this season. There could still be outliers like PUNCH LINE (seems to be a FUNi reject) but most of the time FUNi gets the better shows. I mean, look at Blood Blockade Front and Ultimate Otaku Teacher. We expected for CR to grab them since those shows are from TOHO and YTV, but FUNi grabbed them this season.
