I'm always inspired by someone that shows insane levels of determination.

Displays of affection, especially nonverbal ones. I'm a sucker for love and friendship, and it really gets to me when the bonds between people/characters are affirmed.

In real life, though, I will avoid moments like these as though they're toxic. Involving myself in an emotionally-charged situation is uncomfortable regardless of what emotions come into play. It's much simpler to appreciate other people's relationships. I think the reason I enjoy nonverbal or indirect means of getting the point across more so than the alternative is because I myself would find them more bearable.

Crying. I bet that makes me sound heartless (and I am .) but to me crying is just a physical way of getting rid of built up sadness and/or anger. So you can go tell those people who laugh at you for crying over something important to you to ---k off.

It's great to see the diversity in the number of expected and strange things that make people's hearts warm. But I suppose it serves to distinguish between the good, whose hearts are warmed by positive actions and the bad who's hearts are warmed by animal abuse, and the somewhere in between, whose hearts are burned by scorchingly high temperatures. I liked reading every post with the exception of the most recent one which is quite cheesy and silly to be honest. I'm not sure how to categorise that person.

When parents just got home from back-breaking work, and the kids decided to help them prepare a simple meal or two.

Celebrate a parent's 80th birthday or more.

Or when the sons and daughters visit their frail parents; not to mention, take their parents to live with them and their family.

When I open up to someone and they actually listen. Then they open up to me after. I find that sense of trust really heartwarming.

Also when you haven't seen that special someone in a long while, you hug each other so passionately and you don't want to let go.

What do you find so heartwarming about it?

hard to say... just the whole thing. she is a weapon, and has this facination with starfish. its the conflict of destruction in her purpose and the innocences in her gently playing with them.

When karma strikes people I really don't like or for people I think deserve it (le example: When my brother annoys me, then trips or stumps his toe, or those videos on youtube when someone cuts someone else off on the road, then crashes, oh the warmth )
