Hello everyone! First time posting here on the forums, so forgive me if this topic is misplaced!

Anyhow, I've been looking for a little bit, and all of my results have been shrouded in ambiguity.

I'm really interested in *legally* streaming most/all of Bandai's Gundam series, including the movies if possible. It's also important to me that these be the original Japanese versions with English sub-titles. It's been a real pain in the butt trying to figure out where I can watch this. There are some shows that have been removed due to licensing issues here on CrunchyRoll, but even then CrunchyRoll never appeared to have the ZZ series, the X series, so on and so forth. The only two that I saw were the original and Zeta, but I digress. It's been a struggle to find what I'm after, and I figure that this is probably the most appropriate place on the internet to ask! Oh, and just as a small clarification, I'd prefer a subscription-based website as opposed to a per-episode model, but if I don't have any options the latter will suffice over nothing at all. I'm not particularly interested in free streaming websites with poor quality. Source quality would be awesome!

I sincerely appreciate anyone who takes the time to read and/or post relevant information below. Thank you in advance!

I think the original subs can be found on youtube legally for free. I don't know if thats true or not or if the quality will be all that great but its worth a shot.

When Bandai closed up shop in america, they terminated all their existing licenses, so CR ran out of their license on Gundam. It was collateral damage.

Currently, I'm unaware of any way to stream this content in North America legally. I believe that Bandai pulled all their "legal" content from Youtube as well. You can find an old splash page from Bandai ~2012/13? that showed areas where you could legally stream gundam, but those have all gone dark.

Good news however, is that if you aren't aware, Sunrise Entertainment is bringing Gundam back!

The information has gone dry as to whats going on, but Rightstuf has exclusive rights to distribute Gundam to the US, and its awesome since we're in the same Blu-Ray region as Japan.

Go pick up your Gundam Unicorn!!
