1.1.2 was updated on 2/4... its now 4/9 and STILL no update. people are on here complain about video playback issues on different devices (even check the review section of the app and you will see the same thing). SO how long do we as customers have to keep complaining. personally I am upset over this, you want us to give you details on our problems but you wont give details on when we can expect a fix. I have said this numerous times on numerous forum topics.... this is not a way of doing business. all you keep saying is

"we will fix our problems sometime in the future, but we cant give you any details on when so just wait". AS a paying customer I will be honest.... every month your app doesnt work for our tablets I expect a credit on our accounts until you do.

let me give you an example, I had a problem with Hulu and they worked with me to find the issue... and they had a fix in less than 2 weeks. You guys, not working with anyone to nail down the problem and 2 months and still no fixes.

Just to clarify, are you referring to the black screen during playback on select android tablets? Like what you're describing, it's been an issue for like two-ish months but they seem to not care at all (or at the very least, they are not giving timeframes on a fix or working with confused paying customers). Pretty frustrating. Really makes me want to give my money to Funimation instead. In all my experiences with CR forum mods or tech support, they either come off as flippant or just plain apathetic. Extremely displeased with what should be a professional service that is supposedly the forefront of legal anime streaming outside of japan.

To my knowledge, an update for Android is in the current development cycle. We cannot give ETAs on releases, as bugs found in QA can prolong the process significantly. Also approval by Google, while usually relatively fast, is not something we (or any user) can speed up.

It does not work via Wi-Fi on my own phone either, so I'm very well aware how inconvenient the bug is.

I'm going to necropost/bump this thread.

I've got a bad problem on my phone. The lower resolution streams work, but the default streams don't play well at all. I want to see some video quality settings in the options.

If you are being served lower resolution streams, something is probably diminishing the throughput of your internet comnection. Be it locally or on the route to our network.
