How would you argue with someone too fucked up for reason?

Say...

A free bleeder or a NAMBLA supporter...

You see.. Their minds are too fucked up for reasoning with. They're sick to the core... A free bleeder refuses to acknowledge the health risk they put others in. Like an anti-vaxer, but too the extreme. If you argued with a NAMBLA supporter, it's go like this

And yes... there are people who think like this? What would you say if you came across someone in a forum, let alone real life who makes such an arguement

I would like to think they're trolling or ignore them. People say stuff to get your blood boiling... but trust me, don't think people like this are always trolls... many of them belief sick shit like this too their hearts

And you cannot argue with these people.. their minds are very different and there's no way they can understand the standards of decency within the minds of normal human beings.

Once I figure out that they're not going to listen, I stop. A good indicator is when they ask questions that are so completely unrealistic and silly that you can't answer without going along with their point of view.

Not questions with answers that are logically sound but questions with answers that are so devoid of applicability that you can't help but agree with them if you answer in their favor.

Most people have the capacity for critical thinking, they simply are too lazy and don't use it.

I suppose once I realize a person isn't willing to be reasonable , then I shy away from them in the discussion.

Just sticking around only amounts to feeding the troll, so I let them have the last word and move on.

I think it's that the person is incapable of morality, rather than critical thinking.

Obviously, if someone could make an argument to justify consensual sex with kids, they can think critically... however, their minds are so sick and depraved that they can't grasp the natural sense of morality that humans possess

That's called feeding a troll.

Either wait for them to be banned or vanned.

If you do, you're the idiot.

I like to hear out all points of view but once it goes into personally attacks then it's no longer worth replying. At that point the conversation is just a time waster and it such a shame because I enjoy having good conversations.
At the end of the day I come here for the anime and drama's.

a common misconception to the art of educated debate is that the purpose is to change the mind of the person you are debating with. This is actually false, as debates are used to expand the views of the people who listen, as well as the people who are debating. If Dark_Childe (name above me that I saw) and I were to get into a debate over abortion, we probably would not change each other's opinion on anything, and any attempts to change the other's opinion would simply erupt a controversial and complex issue into a yelling match. So If someone is beyond the level of reasoning, then there is no point in debating or arguing with someone, as all that will happen is you will get frustrated.

Because it's not a discussion people are willing to hold here I'm ending this with the following beautiful quote:
