Any and all rpgs sound fun to me. Specifically maple story. Who wouldn't want to spin around in a tornado of pink As an angelic buster? Or who wouldn't want to be a phantom and be an amazing bosser with attacks at least 6 per second? i sure as heck do.That's probably because i've been playing it too much though. Otherwise outside of the rpg genre i would want to play Team Fortress 2. I want to rocket jump across the map or be a heavy and punch people to death! It could come in 2019 like KarenAraragi said. We already have a very early beta, the oculus rift!

Ah so much comes to mind with this concept that I would actually like to jump on the development bandwagon for games like these as well

Adult Visual novel with nervegear will be most trully fulfilling.

You bet it will be

Except for School Days if you get a bad end. Thought that kind of goes for any Adult VN.

Lol, love the Breakfast Club gif. Gotta love the classics.

As for the games I'd like to see with the NerveGear, I'd love to see and play The World MMORPG game on it from the .hack series. That would be an awesome game to play on it, along with other RPGs like Final Fantasy and Sword Art Online and stuff like that.
Also, a Bleach game would be pretty cool to play with NerveGear. Can you imagine having a Zanpakuto and actually using some of the Shikai and Bankai moves that the characters have, especially the Captains, as well as being able to use Kido? That would just be awesome.

And for those of you saying that NerveGear would improve your body physically, I hate to burst your bubble, but it is gaming gear that you use while your body is laying down, not actually moving around. Has everyone forgotten the months of physical therapy that Kirito and Asuna had to go though, as well as the rest of the players, after waking up from the game because of muscle atrophy and stuff? Not saying that there can't be a version made where your body actually does move around, but if we're talking about the actual one from SAO, it doesn't.

An AoT game would fail because of the immense skill-curve. It is hard to even imagine the difficulty of using 3D-maneuver gear, most people would die by falling more than anything else without an extensive assistance system. The idea of it is awesome though, and if it was possible to pull off would be sweet.

Personally, any game would be impressive in a full-dive format. First person shooters and slashers would have the potential to become seamless with realism. Flight sims are probably where I would be t though. Imagine a deeper EvE Online or Star Citizen with bridge-level C&C. I would be all over that.

I'd accept almost anything if I could do a full dive, although I think fantasy (both single-player and MMO) would be the best genre for it. Flight sim and racing would be great too! (If someone could do the you-have-wings version of flight, as per ALO, that would be epic! But I'll take flight sim via machine type games quite happily.) Horror would probably translate well too, but I think I might avoid that one personally...

I might want a single-player fantasy world before I headed into an MMO, honestly. Just so I could get all of my fails out privately. Because you *know* it would take a bit to get used to switching from controller/keyboard + screen formats into full-dive format!

Wait, for my first game, I want an updated version of Web Wars! It has flight, it has avoiding things (like a fireball from a dragon/pterodactyl creature thingy), it might have shooting things, it definitely has collecting things.
(Er, Web Wars is a really old game from a really old system. My Dad has a crazy old-school system, and that's probably my favorite game off of it. Not sure how to explain it to you all, and I'd be surprised if anyone else has played on a Vectrex, never mind played that specific game... )

I don't see anyone here suggesting anything remotely close to that other than myself so I will further clarify my own post. The technology would provide an incentive to train and improve my body with actual physical training while completely disconnected from the from it. The thinking is that having high athletic ability in real life will better prepare the mind for things such as a high stride rate and quick reaction time.
