I remember in 2009 when I bought my first (and last) iTunes Japan gift card. I basically paid $23 for 7 songs, but I was so happy to get the songs I wanted. Then I became so irritated when I found out that I was breaking terms of service or whatever, but that didn't sit well with me so I quit that. Then I went to eBay and bought about 5 CDs before I learned about the great bootleg trade. Basically you have a better chance of getting authentic an OST from Amazon (not sold by the marketplace but Amazon itself). Well Japan, you've really backed me into a corner here. That's ok though, I'm sure CDJapan or Play-Asia enjoys taking my money anyway. At least I got a Bleach postcard of Toshiro Hitsugaya from the actual CD out of it.

I have never use ITunes, just use Moe Radio. My final solution to this that I found in 2012.

Is that only bound to the internet ?

You legally pay for a copy of a song you like ?

Dunno about the service, that's why I ask

They have their website, (moe.fm) it is in Japanese , they have their app, don't know on IPhone but on Windows Phone you know the name of the artist , Song or Disc you can download it and just play offline or transfer via MP3. (I use it for running music lol)
About Payment I have no idea.

Sadly, a lot of those videos are banned after moderators find em out. Since pretty much all anime content is copyrighted. (ノД`)・゜・。

Those sites do pay the royalties to the artists ? (´・ω・`)?

Hmmm, yah if the mp3 goes straight down to the device, it won't work on IOS.

Sounds odd you can download an mp3 outta a japanese site since Japan is pretty anal about copyrights, but I'll check it out. Thanks

I would think so. What I can tell you is that they're both stores are legitimate and their CDs are authentic, just like Amazon Japan.

Unless they did a crunchyroll (and went legit) since march last year they have a pile of copyright complaint removals http://74.125.163.19/transparencyreport/removals/copyright/domains/moe.fm/ I couldn't find anything legal to say about them in my search.
Seems bizarre to have a US based website in Japanese if it's legit though.

Though if you have something that backs up a legal backing then I would like to see it.

Although I mean something you can have on a portable device no matter you are online or not. (and no youtube converter again is against ToS of youtube.

Nevertheless, I liked the youtube song. :3

There are a few reasons there isn't much Japanese music on iTunes, but one of the biggest is probably disagreements over pricing. Music tends to cost more in Japan, but iTunes limits how high the price for any given song can be. Thus, the people who own the music choose not to sell it on iTunes because they can't sell it for the price they believe it is worth.

Oh flying ballsacks.......

eh, it's not like I'm breaking any laws by using NND/YT converters ._.
