Seems like a waste of money personally.

I can get all of those snacks, keychains, cards, etc at local stores and choose which ones I would want.

I guess you should check out the variety or something before you subscribe to a service.

My friend subscribed to one that brings her candy and snacks monthly, just like a bunch of other services, but hers always brings stuff that I've never seen before, things that are either very rare or nonexistent in the states. I haven't even seen some of her candy/snacks in Taiwan, and Taiwan has more stuff than the states. I've eaten some of her candy/snacks and they were all pretty decent. Her service was not one that has been mentioned in this thread. The name will be recognizable to be once I see it, but I can't seem to remember off the top of my head.

Just make sure they aren't sending you silly things like Morinaga caramels, Pocky, Kasugai gummies, Milky chews, Koala march, Hi-Chew, Tohato chips, etc. I consider those common fare.

I suggest a service that is focused on sending you snacks and candy from Japan, not just anime-related ones. You can potentially get a lot of interesting stuff.

I thought this would be about boxed lunches with anime themes. What a downer.

Sounds interesting, and possibly the same as I what I've subscribed to for the past few months now. Is it called Japan Crate by any chance?

Hm, I don't think so. The name was not made of proper English words.

I have been a subscriber to JapanCrate for the last seven months and I really like it. I get a lot of neat tasty things. And especially where I live it is impossible to buy any Japanese snacks at any store, Walmart sometimes had Pocky and that it is. I get the premium crate every month.
