Ok so my biology is kinda, the rusty spade that dosn't get taken out the shed much among my sciences but I'm fairly sure this doesn't work. In fact I think they are just adding 2g of protein to their beer as its all gets digested to amino acids anyway. Unless your really really protein deficient or eating a strange mix of incomplete proteins can't see this making a darn bit of difference to your own bodies collagen production..

Um... I drink a lot.

So if I drank this, I'd probably drink too much collagen, which I'm sure is bad in some way. I don't know

Plus, 5% alcohol? pussy beer

Thats actually your standard beer, most beer only get up to around 8%.

I don't understand the craze for higher percent of beer when you can just get a bottle of any hard liquor and have higher proof than any beer on the market.

I don't drink hard liquor anymore. I've lost my appetite for it. You couldn't make me drink it - anymore.

Interesting, yet not surprising from the country that has also brought us drinks like Diet water, and a plethora of other utterly strange (and sometimes utterly disgusting) drinks.

I thought it was only korea that were obsessed with their beauty. Anyway, what's this movie about?

not for the weak-stomached

i don't think it's only south korea that's obsessed with beauty; people love to talk about it to place the blame on someone or something rather their own selves.

even non-modernised countries are obsessed with ideal beauty, those tribal people with the long neck rings... disgust me tbh... people shouldn't mutilate their body to achieve standardised beauty.

Yep the collagen will be broken down and not make it to your skin.
Though as an additional though protein is a good way to slow down absorption of alcohol so it could be likely harder to get you drunk with.

A real beer is what the taste is, not the amount of alcohol in it.

Like i said if you want more alcohol drink hard liquor, even the most hardest beers fail to come close to the most weakest liquors.

I'll drink anything if there's alcohol in it

This explains a lot of your threads.

blah, beer. and drinking collagen? I understand that the beer only has a little bit of the stuff, but still sounds gross.

the obsession to stay young and beautiful is outrageous, especially if they selling stuff like this.

personally, I like hard cider (like Crispins or Original Sin). not sure how I would feel if they started putting collagen into hard cider....

I don't like beer and besides eating jelly (not the fruit preserves or what we British call jam, gelatin dessert) is eating collagen.

Collagen dessert commonly known as jelly

There's those Vodka jelly shots for those in need of alcohol with their jelly and here's a champagne jelly one.

it was intriguing...
and the acting was really great

the movie shows the nasty sides of human nature... you have this 30something woman who is insecure about her youthfulness... her marriage is falling apart, her husband is cheating on her with younger women. then you have this other other woman who is exploiting on that human weakness... and exploiting pregnant teenagers.

i like movies like that... because it's realism...

I've watched Dumplings.

It was a decent movie. Mostly psychological, obviously, but worth a watch if only for the entertainment. Not the best horror movie but far from the worst.

I swear that I have seen a flavored sake advertised in much the same manner; can't recall if it specifically had collagen added.
