LOL ^^

Hmm well I haven't been in a relationship for a while now but I've broken up with the guys I dated in the past but knowing how sensitive I am to stuff it would definitely take me a while to get over a break up but Anime and ice cream would help me a lot ^^

It's gonna hurt for a while and you'll get over . . . when you get over it.

It's easy to say, hard to do but try to move along with your life. If you are like anyone you'll dwell on it for a while but do your best not to let it consume you and your thinking.

I think of these things like emotional zits... once you pop it don't pick at it or it will, metaphorically, get infected and get worse.

One of the best relationships I ever had with a woman went to shit and I got over it in a couple weeks.
One of the longest relationships I had with one of my relatives went to shit and I still catch myself pissing and whining about it over a year and a half later.

If you can, find some closure, remember the mistakes you made and they made, so you don't repeat them, find something else and go...
Be careful not to "rebound," take some time for yourself.
Do NOT be Destructive... that never helps, not really.

Something to think about...

I distract myself with watching anime, reading a novel, or playing video games (especially if I'm playing games with a friend - only one though because more than one and it's possible I'll end up being left out of a conversation due to not speaking up at all, whereas with one person it forces me to be social).

Hey Crunchy... Heard some words that really broke me today from someone really important to me.

I'm unable to sleep(thus being posted at 1 AM eastern) So i just wanted to ask.

How do you get past a heartbreak of any type.(To separate from breakup posts)

If this is a repost... i'm sorry.

if your heart is broken are you sure you are still alive? might wan an see a heart surgeon if your still alive, nobody wants you to have a heart attack and die. oh the technicalities of poor words….

To help deal with some unexpected pain, it can certainly help to talk with a friend about it. I've had some troubles similar to this recently, I believe that time heals wounds, only to leave a scar in it's place. It'll always be a part of your past. I would suggest doing what you love most, maybe with friends or family, and every new day working on leaving what happened in your past.

Talk to a friend about the issue. Cry if you need to. After you've calmed down, have fun with that friend and laugh twice as hard as you cried.

True. Well said.

...I see a lot of people saying "Time" this and that...I can tell you now..Time will not fix anything the situation will remain the same..You can only accept and become accustom to what you are feeling and deal with it as is till eventually it becomes your norm..

Best I can tell you is if I am hurt I go talk to the person that hurt me and let them know my current state and how it effected me...it's not fun living in a reality where only you know you were hurt..Let them know..least they can do is see it hurt you..

I scream, cry, overeat, oversleep.
Rip their pictures, dye my hair, go for a run, and pass out on the couch.
I'm not very pretty when I've been hurt
but sometimes you just gotta get it all out.
Tension, anxiety, and feelings of worthlessness can all come out if you force it.
And the calm after is what you really need.

Find a friend, vent it all out, after that it is mostly time.

During the time, distract yourself with video games, anime, books, or working out(high intensity helps distracting much better than say walking).
