I'm a pretty avid cosplayer. Before I even got interested, I judged other cosplayers quite a bit. Then my friend told me I should just try it out and I did. Now I love it! For me, going to conventions in cosplay has made it ridiculously easy to make friends. I'm really shy so that says a lot. There are some cosplayers that make me cringe, not because of the way they look though. I don't care about that. Just because of the way they act.

Anyway, cosplaying is really fun and I encourage you to give it a try if you haven't! I was kinda embarrassed at first, but if you enjoy something enough you won't care about what others think.

Most cosplayers could care less if you judge them anyway. I know I could care less. I'm not doing it to please the fangirls/fanboys. Most are just normal people trying to have fun. Only in a different way. Who cares if they don't look exactly like who they're dressed up as.

Want to cosplay but considering my size, and my favorite characters. none of them fit. I am too tall and fat compared to the guys from my country.

Maybe if i can get thin and buff myself, i could try Nozaki

What exactly annoyed you? Did you think the cosplays were poorly made? The way they were acting?

I wished my University had an anime club. Maybe I should try forming my own anime club, I should just ask permission.

Cosplayers are not testing you. They are being themselves. If seeing people in cosplay bothers you, you need to get a life
