I grew up with my Dad showing me British Comedy, Sci-fi shows, and so on... Later on I found out my Mom was a huge Tolkien fan, she quit reading when she became a mother, never picked it back up.

Nope. The only other geek in my family is one of my cousins who works in QA for Microsoft.

My mom was a member of the science club in high school because she likes math and science. She also likes the Batman TV show with Adam West because she thinks the show is funny. My dad on the other hand hated that show when he was young and still thinks the show is stupid.

My dad is not that much of a geeky/dorky guy despite looking like a stereotypical geek when he was a teenager. He watched Lost in Space and Star Trek but he is not a hardcore fan. He enjoys some of the anime movies that I drag him to see with me and the Marvel films. He also watched the infamous Plan 9 from Outer Space (re-issue) when he was young.

My older sister is obsessed with all things Marvel (MCU and the comics). My younger sister likes to play games (the PS2 and Wii stuff) and reads comics, mostly indies, and some manga and collects Alpaca plushies.

I'm the only one in my family that likes anime, manga and games (JRPGs especially).

I've always been a nerd, more mild though. I don't go nerding out. My dad only recently got into comics/selling them (2011). I've shown my mom and dad Attack on Titan and Death Note. There not big anime people I was lucky to get them watching that.

Not at all, actually. I seem to have inherited all of my dork genes from somewhere down the line....

The closest I could stretch is that my mom likes to read medieval fantasy novels like Game of Thrones.

My brother and I. I'm the reason why my brother likes anime and is into video games, comics, computers etc.. even his friends say that he has a "cool sister" :p

My dad was a trekkie back in the day. He also had an NES back when I was born, which is why I'm into video games today. He moved away from all that around that time, so I guess it moved from him to me.

Actually, I think my younger cousin is into anime too.

High blood pressure runs in my family. It's the only common thing we share besides ugly recessive gene traits. I'm surely not interested if you ask me. Shut up.

Nope. But my mom used to watch Heidi and my dad watched He-Man in their childhood. No wonder where I get my anime traits from.
