I was the biggest nerd in my family. I'm like the go-to person for any tech-related questions long after I felt the house . Eventually married a fellow nerd and is now raising little nerd children who play with their devices in the backyard treehouse.

Well, my family and a majority of my cousins are athletes. We either play gridiron football or basketball. So athleticism runs in our family tree. Literally.

Some of my family is geeky in some way or another. My aunt is really into Star Trek (she even knows the Klingon language), and one of my uncles is really into Doctor Who (I have a picture of him from the 80's where he's dressed up as Tom Baker). My parents watch some sci-fi and fantasy stuff sometimes but not often (but my mother is really into murder mysteries, and I count that as geeky considering how much she watches and reads). A family friend that's basically family (his mother and my mother were best friends since they were young because their mothers were best friends) is extremely into gaming, but mostly retro gaming since that's when he and I were growing up (he's about ten years older than I am but we pretty much grew up together). He has a LOT of gaming consoles and games, his entire garage is full of boxes of the stuff. He also is really into sci fi and fantasy stuff to a ridiculous degree.

I'm the only one into anime though. But I am into a lot of sci fi and fantasy stuff and have also been into Star Trek and Doctor Who since I can remember because of my aunt and my uncle.

My family has a history of dying, so I am at risk for that.

No, dorkyness/geekyness doesn't run in the family, I'm the only one that has that kind of trait. Though being a big bitch runs in the family.

My dad prepared me for fatherhood by teaching me the art of the dad joke.

And yeah, I used to play games with my dad all the time. I kind of miss it, actually.
