I think it doesn't count unless the sides are even, so hunting with bare hands.

Hunting for food? No problem. As long as people don't kill too much, anyway. Trophy hunting, on the other hand, is something I cannot agree with. It's a waste of time and a shameless waste of life just to stroke someone's ego.

What's your opinion on hunting?

It doesn't bother me one way or another. Never really think about it.

If you're going to eat the animal, I'm okay with it. You should not hunt endangered species or go trophy hunting. Make an effort to not be too damaging when you hunt.

I support hunting never hunted myself unless you count fishing. Many people hunt for food and some for sport. In Africa for example someone pays big money to hunt a rhino they don't get to kill any one they find. They have to kill a old one that is more than likely keeping the younger males from reproducing with the females. If you think of it this way yes you lose 1 rhino but what if for every one killed 2 are born. The hunter gets his/her experience the villagers get the meat and the conservationist get there money to better protect the remaining herd from poachers. I don't like seeing animals killed but the alternative is to allow a entire species and human lives to be lost vs allowing hunting to keep both the majority of the animals protected and the people that protects them from poachers better prepared.
Some reading about hunting if anyone interested

I think hunting is fine. I've been hunting a few time myself. We always eat what we kill and of course we do it in a legal manner.

I used to go hunting, I do not have a problem with it. I don't care for the meat anymore, it all tastes like old liver that's been in the freezer too long, so I stopped going.
Lately it has gotten to be a rich-person's sport. Ammo and licenses are kind of spendy and you need a place to process and store the critter you just killed.

I find trophy hunting to be a disagreeable thing but if you aren't breaking the law and you're actually helping out someone else's economy and ecology it's hard to argue about it. I still think you should shoot it with a camera....

Interestingly, I have found the preparations you make to go hunting more fun and rewarding. Making your own ammo to save money is a kick, especially when you go to the range to test your newest load combinations. Target practice, skeet, trap and sporting clays is fun. The satisfaction you get when you can put two rounds through the same hole at 300 yards and keep the other three inside a quarter inch is a reward of it's own.

I've no problem with hunting except endangered species. It always seemed to me to be sort of a sad waste to adorn a wall with stuffed animal parts but I don't condemn those that practice it. I've hunted since childhood.I've pretty much quit since the knee replacements . I could sit in a stand but it's just not the same.I shoot when I get a chance.I like plinking with my Mosin Nagant carbine.

Animals are an inferior species to humans, so I don't think they have rights. That being said, I don't have a problem with hunting for any reason (for trophies or for food) unless it puts an entire population in danger.

white people like killing stuff
I don't like it

I think it's just a step away from murdering your wife and eating your kids.

If all you do with it is stick it on your wall then I don't think hunting is for you.
I will accept hunting if you actually use all of the animal that you are hunting and not keep it for a trophy.

I don't really have anything against it but you won't see me out killing animals. It may be that I am desensitized to hunting because where I live there is an abundant amount of hunters. Sometimes my teachers will come to school and tell us about what they shot over the weekend and how many points it was. We even had a teacher that showed us videos of his hunting dogs during class and he brought one to school once. But, I am not a fan of trophy hunting and I will say the majority of hunters I know do use the meat.
