Coffee all the way

Yes!!! (And yes to the big WHOPPING CUP). I drink a pot (12-cups) daily, always freshly ground! Anyone have a favorite blend, perhaps?? I'm partial to Sumatran and French Roast I like medium-dark to dark and normally have it black. Ooo, another question! Creamer or no creamer??

I love House Blend right now (especially if I'm have something like peanuts, chocolate, a cookie, or pretzels with it). I am trying to appreciate black coffee by itself, so no cream or sugar unless I'm like out at Starbucks or something. I also finding French Roast to be enjoyable.

I agree. I only use creamer (and normally International Delight creamers) when it's more of a poor grade coffee, heehee (like Ambiance -gag- ) oh, and for all you coffee grinder people!! I find putting a little salt into the grinder along with the beans BEFORE grinding, really lessens the acidity so that even your dark roasts are nice and smooth! Anyone a cold coffee person??

The closest I've come to cold coffee (assuming we're not talking about iced coffee) is letting my cup sit for about 20-30 minutes without drinking it. Sometimes I find that I get more taste out of it that way.

that totally makes sense. I do the same. I was thinking more alone the lines of, pouring black coffee over iced cubes. Not fraps ^_~ To me, I don't think fraps and caps should be considered 'iced coffees', you know? They have so much creamer in them that it seems almost ludicrous to call it 'iced coffee'. Just in my opinion, of course, iced coffee should have sugar at the most, over ice The others should be, cold 'specialty' drinks or some fancy title. (I LOVE fraps. I just think it's been named wrong, lol)

Oh, then yes. I have done that. I have a Keurig and I used to buy those special iced coffee K-Cups (to this day I still saw no difference between those K-Cups and others), and I just added ice.

living in a place where it's super hot or extremely humid nearly all the time I've come to appreciate cold/iced coffee ;^_^;. And though Starbucks has gotten a bit of a bad rap I do think, after trying several coffees, that their beans are fantastic. I buy whole bean and it tastes excellent; I've had some really bad coffee, hahaha; Starbucks ain't it! I looooove their Houseblend. I think that's my favorite there
