A similar thread to this was quickly hijacked and shut down by those who felt obliged to tell us we don't (or don't have the right to) exist. But we do exist and I'm now curious to see how many of us there are on CrunchyRoll's forums.

Please chime in if you wish to share.

Note: This thread is for Transfolk and their supporters to identify themselves to each other. It's not here to be a platform for debate on the validity of the transgender narrative. If you want to debate my existence start your own thread. I will promptly report to the moderators any attempt to turn this thread away from it's avowed purpose.

Edit: AND we have a group you can join http://www.crunchyroll.com/group/Trans_on_CR

You can add me to the headcount since while I don't feel it necessary to label myself (I'm a very "I do me so you go do you" kind of person) I suppose I would hit that checkbox.

That's like saying there's no such thing as Romans. Wtf? Lol Why not just make a group? Though, I feel like there's no need separate yourselves from everyone else. We're all the same one way or another, and I rather human would unify.

I'll be good and do what I should've done from the beginning: simply report abusive or trolling comments. I'm sorry for being a part of the trouble before, even if I was well-intentioned. Thanks for bringing this thread back to life, PGW.

It's a valid point, though: a group should be created in addition to this thread.

Yeah a group is a good idea. That way you can control the comments to keep the abusive shit out.

It's not an act of separation anymore than trying to find out if other people like your favourite game or share a past experience like military service.

Post Script: A group sounds like a fine idea. How do I set one up?

Edited to remove a double post.

Further Edit

Group Formed. Closed group. "CR Trans Community" apparently I can only invite buddies so if you don't want to buddy me you'll have to look it up yourself.

People get scared by things they don't understand and the trans community is practically invisible to most. Amongst my class we have a student transitioning, the other students have been extremely supportive and I'm very proud of them. We've actually had more problems with parents than the students.

I actually have one set up, that I was working on. And I'm not sure if you remember, but I was the creator of the original thread.~ I'll edit this to give a link to the group.

Edit: This is the link to the group I have set up. [http://www.crunchyroll.com/group/Trans_on_CR]

Was going to try and write some witty snark for the hateful bigots. But since they can't grasp the basic concept of being kind and accepting of everyone, I am sure the snark would have gone over their head.

And I was probably gonna be bad at writing the snark anyways

Same here! I experienced gender dysphoria, (and I still do) but I'm getting the help I need. I feel a lot more comfortable identifying as genderqueer, though, that's for sure.

Don't let anyone tell you your feelings are invalid, just because you're young. I went through the same thing, and the same BS when I was 14-15. "You're too young to feel that way about your gender!" Or other BS like that.
