I've never been one for honorifics or titles to be honest, but at the same time I don't really mind what people call me so I guess I'd be ok with it. A bigger problem for me would be having to refer to people as kouhai or senpai since I already have a tendency to leave the Mr. or Ms. off of my teachers names.

I got this girl into anime, and now she calls me senpai most of the time. I think it's it's awesome XD Though she likes being called neko-chan so there's that too..

While have personally never been called senpai, I would still be fine with being called it. And for kouhai that one I am called on occasion by an older friend who also enjoys anime, he is three grades ahead of me. So being called either would never bother me

I would hope it would be a cute guy who calls me kouhai. I'd probably blush at being called senpai.

Titles are difficult.

Whether you're perceived as above or below, you should earn your rank as a peer, and be polite until you've accomplished that.

I'm 28 and my mom won't recognize me as an adult because I haven't had a haircut in almost a year. A lot of my friends are well-kept long-hairs, I'm going the rowdy version of that. I got in an argument with my mom last weekend and I can't let it follow me like it does. My grandparents were glad to see me and regaled me with stories of their vacations that I won't forget, because they know I like to go camping and we think travel is great.

My TA from last semester's Japanese class caught me off guard by calling me kouhai. Though it didn't bother me too much when she did it, so I guess I don't mind it. To fit the theme I call her senpai when I see her now.
