I am using the Crunchyroll app on my iPad mini and there have been numerous times where there has been freezing, it seems like every episode I watch there is at least two freezes. When it unfreezes the sound just plays and nothing else, it is making me so irritated! Does anyone know what to do? I have already deleted the app and reinstalling it, but that did not work. Also, I tried watching it on my phone, which has the most recent updated software, and it is still freezing and blurry. It takes a while for it to go back to HD. Someone please help! This used to never happen, these past few months it has been common.

Spotty playback like that is usually a sign of temporary limited line quality between you and our content delivery network.

Make sure that your Wi-Fi connection is steady, and that no other nearby network overlaps with it on the same channel or other users of your network use any services that could affect your connection quality. Some home routers have settings that prioritize cable-bound devices over Wi-Fi devices, or certain services over others.
