As described I want to watch 1-3 new animes, I'm still general new to this industry and would like recommendations. I've asked my friends, but none catch my interest.
What Not To Suggest:
Attack On Titan
Full Metal Alchemist Series
What I am looking for:
An anime based off a group of people
Not a stretched anime (For example: It takes 20 episodes to get the point across like One Piece [I actually like one piece do not get mad])
I would not like sci-fi (As in space and stuff)
Thank you before hand, sorry if you think i am pathetic for not being able to figure this out on my own. <3
Here are a few suggestions:
Valkyria Chronicles: Fantasy version of WWII Europe, about a squad of militia involved in fending off invasion from the Big Bad Empire.
Chaika the Coffin Princess (at least the first season; I haven't gotten around to watching S2 yet): Daughter of all-powerful, recently dead emperor joins up with brother-sister fighting team (and a few others) to track down and bury her father's dismembered (and magically powerful) body.
Trigun: Faux-Old West (steam punk world, if that's not too sci-fi for you), about two insurance agents trying to minimize the damage caused by the legendary gunman Vash the Stampede.
Samurai Champloo: Faux-1800s Japan; young woman recruits two elite (and wondering) samurai to help her on a personal quest.
No Game No Life - Fantasy show in which wars have been replaced with games.
Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? - The other game/contest based fantasy show.
GIRLS und PANZER - Girls with WW2 tanks blast each other in competitive tank battles.
Haikyu!! - Really good sports show about vollyball.
YUKI YUNA IS A HERO - This may not look like it , but this show has some surprisingly good fantasy action fights in it.
Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA - Half parody, half action show. Episode 6 has one of the best fights of 2013.
