How often do you misspell certain words, I'm a fast typer so I love typing fast. There are certain words that I always misspell like separate, reconnaissance, restaurant, neighborhood and conscientious. There are a bunch of others but these are all I can think of right now, curse the people who made the spelling.

It's not that I misspell my words, I just sometime forget how to write them properly.

Like what if I spelled misspell with only 1 S instead 2? Mispell am I right? nope wrong.

I occasionally make typos and sometimes forget how to spell certain words.

"Maintenance" is probably the word I spell wrong the most. And for the longest time, I thought "harbringer" was a word. It is "harbinger" and I was spelling it incorrectly for years.

Compared to most of the English-speaking population, though, I consider myself blessed.

I always spelled necessary incorrectly until I decided to pay attention to it. I never spelled it wrong since then.

I sometimes look up the spelling of a word when I know I'll butcher the spelling of it. If I type it misspelled in google, the correct spelling will usually come up. For the most part though, I don't pay attention to how I type. I spelled "pour" as "poor" in the cereal thread a week or two ago, but I didn't care enough to change it.

I'm going to type out this post without any proofreading or fixing. Tell me how good it is. Normally I check my posts firs,t because I usually missplell a few words or make typing mistakes, which I am sure everyone does. I really am curious whether or not I do as badly as I think. I wish I had more to say to give a better ecample, usimg more eloquint words and such, but I am sure that this will be a fine indicator of how illeterate I am.

I always spell occasion wrong. I always spell it "ocassion" first. I don't know why. I CAN'T STOP

Also if there happens to be a new word/word I don't use often that I have to spell, I struggle because my native language spells things exactly how they sound so I default to that. English and wonky spelling throws me off with new words lol

I misspell sentence "sentance" way too much. I don't even know why. My finger instinctively goes to the a instead of the e key.

I have always been good at spelling, & have a slight obsession with spelling correctly, but the older I get the more I doubt my abilities. I will write a word & when I look at it, it looks wrong for some reason & I feel like I have to check the spelling. I refuse to use spell-check because I dont want to get lazy & because I forget to set it to UK English (I'm Australian - we use the Queens English) & get everything spelled in American! So I resort to a nearby dictionary, but it almost always proves I was right in the first place - which is more annoying than if I'd been wrong!!
At the moment my laptop is in its death throes, and the keyboard is playing up - it drops or doubles the g & h, and the backspace & capslock either stick or dont work at all - so writing anything can be really tedious. But my obsessive nature means I persevere rather than leave the mistakes!! You dont realize how often you use a g or h until they start to play up!!
My favourite example of the type of 'harbringer - harbinger' mistake was from a building company contracts manager in court (they owed our company money) who said he wasnt using us as an 'escape goat'!! I couldnt help laughing, much to the judges disgust, as the picture I got in my head was one of a goat chained up in a Houdini style water tank!! Obviously a very intelligent goat - and a very eloquent man!!
