Let me know if a thread like this one exist or not.
Thanks a bunches.

Explain your opinion in great detail.

Simply tell me how do you find a way to get some sleep when you're too alert? I'm asking because I CAN'T SLEEP AND I AM STARTING TO GET ANNOYED! I HAVE TO WORK AT 7:30 am AND I CAN'T SLEEP! Got any tips on what you would do.

Enjoy!

I had some tea and that did nothing. Maybe I should try and read. Does watching a boring anime series work too?

Drink some tea and listen to music.
Watching anime helps too because the subtitles get me really sleepy

Wish I could tell you, but the last thing I remember doing before falling asleep last night was looking at the time. It was 3:34 am. -_-

Open your eyes wide and tell yourself you don't wanna sleep. Your brain won't let you have your way and will instead make you sleepier.

Alcohol helps.

Also, try to watch a show or something on your laptop or phone while lying down in bed under the covers. I usually fall asleep in like 20 minutes.

Outside of drowsy medicine, not a damned thing works for me when I need to work the 6 and 7am shifts. Even then, I'm left groggy for the first half of my shift. The only thing that COULD HAVE worked, had I known it was going to be a problem, would have been to do simple exercises to wear myself out. Trying to do them this late, however, would just keep me awake that much longer until the fatigue had a chance to kick in. Hmmm, perhaps you could try cooling down your room. People sleep more when it's cold. The opposite should be avoided, as well. Don't take a hot shower shortly before you need to sleep. I could also probably bore you to sleep with stories about my life, my blog, and my opinions. I do make my co-workers yawn a lot when I babble. Oh! Watch videos of people yawning. It's contagious.

Watch anime but make sure the autoplay feature is not on in case you fall asleep so you don't end up watching an entire series without doing so. It has happen to me a number of times. Also try doing something that relaxes your anxiety or get someone to do it for you, It's different for different people :-)
