any fav anime list with Cuticle Detective Inaba in it is a good list, imho. I would also recommend this one, as it made me laugh so much.
________

This is my list of unpopular anime that are good, imo.

1. Flowers of Evil

On the surface, it just feels and seems your like typical high school and simple love story gone wrong; but beneath the surface, lies a series full of rich characterisation, and deep meanings, for example, the criticism of the Japanese's way of life and being too disciplined in one's own manners and disregarding your "true" self to fit in with the society's standards. Acting out of character when you become too "attached" to someone... whether out of deluded love or "real" love.

It's almost a satire of common shoujo anime.

I personally think the main message in this anime is that the people we think are fucked up are not the fucked ones, it's the normal people that are fucked up because they're too stringent in their disciplined and sheltered life... they're unable to cater to those who deviates from the norm.

2. Natsu no Arashi

This is a very funny series; it may take several episodes to understand and to get used to the plot... but once you do, you'll be hooked. It has that classic anime humour kind of feel to it. And towards the end, it's pretty sad.

3. Ixion Saga DT

Another underrated gem on Crunchyroll. This series is super duper funny... I don't know why it isn't more popular... but hey, I don't get to decide how popular a series is... and I feel like most of the unpopular anime is aimed at me or something :X

4. Senyu

This 3 minute/episode anime is seriously the funniest short anime... it will send you to the hospital for stomach ache!

Cuticle Detective Inaba is absolutely hilarious ^_^ I've seen flowers of evil, it's extremely unique

Awesome ^_^

I'm not the only one to have liked "R-15", a pretty unique ecchi show. And what about "Walkure Romanze", or "Blade and Soul"?

I'm not a major ecchi fan I can only watch so much but I've seen a bit of Walkure Romanze and I've seen all of blade an soul, it's not a bad show.

Chihayafuru, all the way. There were a couple seasons done by Madhouse around the same time Hunter x Hunter 2011 was airing, and although the actual content of the two anime is really dissimilar they remind me of each other a lot because they both have the same amazing production values. And also because they both have really strong characterization and varied character designs. And also because they're both series I'd give a 10/10 which is super rare for me. (Although the second season of Chihayafuru isn't quite as good.)

Oh god I have so many for this list...I'll try to limit it to 10. In no particular order:

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou
One of my all time favorite Romances.

White Album 2
Probably the best romance/Drama I have ever seen.

ShinSekai Yori
Hands down my favorite mystery/suspence show, the world building is incredible, it does start off a bit slow though.

Usagi Drop
A fantastic Slice of Life dealing with what it means to be a parent. I would higly recomend this to those of you that have parents.

Say 'I Love You'
Shoujo romance isn't for everyone, but I love this show to death.

Katoura-san
An adoreable Rom-Com, it can get a bit heavy at times but is generaly pretty light and funny.

Tonari no seki-kun
A fabulous short comedy

Hayate the Combat Butler
I highly recomend the first season of this show, it is hysterical. The second season is more of a generic harem, but is still decently funny.
(note that the second season starts after the 9th of the first season, not at the end of it IIRC)

Working!
A very silly workplace comedy, it is getting another season one of these days (can't remember exactly when).

Sabagabu
Another silly comedy. bad description because sleepy.

There are several titles that come to mind, but one that stands out is Love Stage. It's a BL show, which explains why it isn't so popular around here, but it's a well-done BL comedy.

I personally recommend Hell Girl if you like darker anime, and Dusk Maiden of Amnesia for a star-crossed love series.

Is Hell girl on Crunchyroll? I want to see Dusk Maiden of Amnesia but I'm terrified of ghosts O.o

Actually I'm not a big fan of horror animes but Dusk maiden is Really excellent. (It's more of a love story anyway)
