This would probably have prevented a lot of violence in my youth. If I have a son later and he takes after me it will be to his benefit if it is available state side.

LOL. You def. don't use da internetz much. Cyberbullying is scarier and realer and has caused so many suicides. If anything, this would foster far more stressful and scarier peer situations.

On another note, if people are neuro-connected to their PCs, then I'd be all happy and excited like the rest of y'aaaaall :D.

But, obviously, it's more like an MMO... except completely boring, and will wear everyone out far, far more. You literally stay @ ur PC for 8 hours straight (and I'm not talking about for fun)... and you'd have to either read or listen... hopefully not read, otherwise... then there's all that eye strain.

Anyway, I think it takes away from PC free time usage! If you're @ ur pc for 8 hrs for school, you'd be too tired to spend the next 6 hours playing Log Horizon and doing raids :D.

But the cyberbullying will be real, and scarier. It's like the internet, EXCEPT EVERYONE KNOWS EACH OTHER'S NAMES. So everyone literally will be living on social media - that's gonna be the equivalent of talking @ the café. And we all know how microscopic social media can get...............................

I've had knives pulled on me, been shot at, and had a gun to my head. I have had literal boot prints in my flesh. I have had to hurt some people pretty bad defending myself. I'm not as concerned about cyber bullying in comparison to what I dealt with. It is a serious issue, but with involved parents that support their kids cyber bullying can be handled. Being jumped by seven guys behind the school who try to beat you to death until one of them gets a broken limb is not light stuff. We're not talking just bullying here, we're talking threat to life and limb. They found one kid I went to school with in his car with a slit throat. He'd been drained and then stuffed in the driver's seat. The guy was a sophomore in high school. There are still places in America where high school is more like a triad controlled neighborhood than a school.

I'm rly sorry for all that u've gone through, man. It sounds really scary and tough, and dangerous - and you're lucky and blessed to have survived.

I apologize for being an inconsiderate douche. Real life bullying really can be worse than the online mental kind.

Hey, not everybody has had the same life experience and reality can be stranger and further out than people expect. If you haven't been there before how would you know it can get like that?

I had a bad habit of sticking my nose into other's business back then. I got jumped by stopping that group from picking on another kid. I probably should have gotten some kind of authority figures involved and stayed out of it myself. I wasn't bullied so much as retaliated against for interfering in other people's crap. There's more than one way to handle things like that, but I was hard headed and tended to react off the cuff instead of taking the safer route. I'm not saying I should have just let them pick on him, but I probably should have kept my name and face out of it. Some people are bullies, some are genuinely bad people that are just junior thugs.

I was thinking you meant something that slows down perception of time. Can't be that hard to do can it.
