Someone told me GAP the clothing brand stood for "Gay And Proud" when I was in 3rd grade as a joke and I believed it (I thought it may be an old company and used Gay as in happy before it had any negative context in my head). Then in my 9th grade theatre class I mentioned it somehow and this girl broke out laughing and said "You actually think thats what it means?" I felt pretty dumb needless to say.

Well, I have learned plenty of things that make me feel dumb, but I certainly have smarted from all those things and to not believe stuff until I see it as I can get quite disillusioned by it. Anyway, one things that I learned that just made be feel crazy dumb is that despite putting on all the lights to showcase the tall buildings and stuff, downtowns in most cities are generally empty during the night. Of course, there are some exceptions to the rule, but generally speaking the lights are for safety and visibility reasons and that there isn't much going on with most of the people there during the day.

Winter break was finished but I was still longing for more breaks from school. I looked at the calendar and it said "MLK day." I thought it was a typo but I was glad that I thought the school decided to have a whole day dedicated to milk. Not to mention, I LIKE chocolate milk.

You should know by now the end result was. Yup, disappointed as hell. Shuddup. >.<

they dont, only the way you argue for them gives them any credence.

I never was made to believe Santa or the Easter bunny was real.
In fact, I was told immediately that they were both made up.
I spoiled it for all my friends.
HOWever, my mom thought it was somehow "better if I didn't know" and I didn't know ANYTHING about getting my period until it happened.
And I thought I was DYING.

My friggin' parents.

I met a "guy" online and we started dating after a while, things were going as good as ever. Then I found out this person was actually a girl. I honestly didn't care, I just wanted them to admit it and stop lying to me, they wouldn't. I felt foolish, especially when I found out their real age. I avoided them like I do the Habs in the NHL.

When I was young, i used to pronounce the word "Caucasian" as "Ca-COO-SI-an", and it took me YEARS to actually realize it was pronounced differently.
