Hi, I am sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. Also, I have tried to use the search function, but couldn't find anything.

Now,
When I click myself onto the anime series I want to watch, let's say sword art online, I am presented with all episodes, listed from latest episode first and and oldest episode last, so I have to scroll my way down if I want to start on the first episode.

My first question is:
1 - Is there no way to make it so episodes are listed by descending order? I have searched and searched but can't find such a setting. If this is not possible, I sincerely express my humble condolenses to anyone who's just started watching naruto shippuden here.

Also, I oftentimes get things spoiled when I am scrolling to find the episode I want to see, because the episode names or images sometimes strongly suggest comming events.

2 - Is there any way to get rid of episode images and names, so that I only see a descending list of "episode 1, episode 2, ... episode N"? As things are for me now, I need to almost shut my eyes completely to avoid spoilers of coming events, which is quite inconvenient in the long run.

If these things are not possible, may I suggest considering creating these options?

It's the right place to ask if the features exist and how to do what you want. I suggest adding shows you are watching to your queue. This results in automatically advancing to the next episode in the right order without you having to do anything except click the episode displayed (and when you expand the view it will show the episodes ahead.

It doesn't help with not showing the episode title or the first couple of lines of the episode description though.

To actually submit these as suggestions use the Suggestions/Feedback forum

Ah, thank you. This solves the issue to some degree. :)

But still, does anyone know if it's possible to list episodes descendingly?

Your best bet would probably to be to add the show to your queue and then only access it from there. That way you will only see the current episode name/picture. You can even add a show to your queue without going to the full show page by hovering on the show page.

As for doing things outside of built in stuff, you can easily hide all episode descriptions/images just by adding a little css to the page:

li.group-item p.short-desc{
  display:none;
}
li.group-item a.episode img.landscape{
  content:url("http://static.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/coming_soon_beta_wide.jpg");
}

You can plug this into any userstyle extension or addon type thing depending on what browser you use. For instance, if you use chrome, you can get https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylish/fjnbnpbmkenffdnngjfgmeleoegfcffe?hl=en and add a style that matches the regexp

http\:\/\/www\.crunchyroll\.com\/(?!.*\/episode)(?!comics)(?!store)(?!forum)(?!home).+

which, while not being perfect should prevent the css from causing any problems on other pages (let me know if it doesn't). It doesn't hide the hover description, but it should be a little better for you.

I just click everything just to see what it does. Sometimes I even remember....

That should really be the default... There are any number of other places than the show page to see the latest episode.

@asharka,
Thank you. But I already know about that button.In my opinion it is quite useless, as it reverts to ascending order as soon as you refresh the page. In my opinion it would be best if I could set it to default.

@Otter Modder
Thank you for the advise. I will try that css-thing!

I did too! Shame on me for not at least bothering to look to confirm. I was so sure the answer was "no."
