Because this happened over two years ago? And looking at the references, the media did cover it.

That is because many people like conservatives like to quote MLK out of context.
But to acknowledge this quote is to acknowledge the truth of the situation.

Basically the conservatives are just looking to degrade the gang-banging, thug, ghetto-trash rather than see the truth that the African American community in Baltimore (and other cities) are fed up with being used as nothing more than targets of sociopathic cops and their enabling peers who stay quiet about it!

Angry people will be angry what can I say? The only way to stop this would to just use lethal force, once a riot happens and 500 people end up dead they will think twice about doing it again over 1 dead guy... but you know that is insane and is never going to happen. But that would fix it. If they have no fear the mobs are just going to do what they want.

It is hard to tell why they are doing what they are doing but I am sure it is not as bad as they think, to do all of this shit.

That would actually start a real revolution and it has happened. Throughout history it always leads to a revolution, like U.S. history, The Boston Massacre.

And that was only 5 people imagine what 500 people would be like.

Um... pointing out that the mysterious death of a 17-year-old kid was swept under the rug by the news media? I thought that was quite evident.

This was barely covered on a national level.

.....so when blaming white people overall doesn't work people pull the conservative card. Well, that's what I get from expecting prior to pull away from party or social agendas and actually talk from a mature point of view.

People also forget that there were incidents of rioting and looting surrounding the Boston Massacre as well.

This is one reason why I would never vote for a liberal instead of looking for solutions they like to point the finger and say it's not your fault your burning buildings or you joined a gang and can't get a job. It's the conservatives fault because don't don't hire you for a job, it's their fault for not paying more taxes so you could get more money from entitlement programs. The people who are at fault for the destruction and damage are the ones that are actually causing the damage and destruction.

Umbrella protests in Hong Kong.

We should take example. One of the most oppressive developed countries today has witnessed the most peaceful protests.

I see that black people are continuing to highly live up to the low opinions people have of them.

I suppose black lives only matter when they are taken by a white cop.

No, what you don't want to face is that conservative economic policies that disproportionately target people of color causing the poverty and degraded conditions of their communities caused the hopelessness that is driving the riot!

The people that are out there in Baltimore rioting aren't interested in protesting. If you think that is the case, you are fooling yourself.
The only thing those rioters are interested in is destruction, looting, and getting away with it.

I feel sorry for the actual protesters- their voices have been drowned out by the greed and abhorrent behavior of the mob mentality.

" It's the conservatives fault because don't don't hire you for a job" <-- It's been proven that white felons have the same chance of being hired as people of color with a CLEAN record! So yes there is discrimination which IS a conservative value

"it's their fault for not paying more taxes so you could get more money from entitlement programs" Taxes pay for society to run. And Greece is perfect evidence that austerity programs CRIPPLE an economy. Maybe if the 1% and the corporations paid their real fair share, there would be enough money for the social safety net to work so that people wouldn't be driven to hopelessness!

Why don't you actually learn what conservatism actually does before going off their pretty sounding sound bites!

Ok, let me say African-Americans for the above.

Also, the stereotypes that conservatives use are far more favorable to Asians than they are African-Americans. Of course you knew that.
You were just being disingenuous!

Favorable? Being almost ignored in American society outside of loli stereotypes is somehow favored? Thanks middle class USA. Nice walls you've built around youself there.

I'm just going to sit back and watch this firestorm.
