Didn't that black person run away from the police? So in a nutshell its his fault for running.

Why does it matter what color he was? And running away from police justifies being killed? In what fucking world m8

Guess you missed the part where he ran less than a week after having some vertebrae fused and that's not a smart thing to do.

Also:

“Freddie Gray had a pre-existing spinal and neck injury [from a car accident] and had severe damage and scar tissue from an accident that Allstate insurance was paying via a large structured settlement.

Freddie had several unsuccessful spinal fusion surgeries, and his most recent spinal/cervical operation was a week and a half before he was arrested. Freddie should have been at home in bed resting and recovering from this recent major operation.

If you look on Howard County Civil Court records you will find a case whereby Freddie Gray Jr. was trying to cash in his monthly structured Allstate settlement into a lump sum payout through Peachtree funding”.

My question really is why people keep making this forum topic?
Mods have already stated there was a lack of maturity in both closed forum threads.
(Not to mention some of the offensive comments from some.)
And closed both of them and asked people not to make more.

On topic though:
Did anyone see the protesters cleaning up the looting mess today?
Or is the media still focused on the negative?

^ Even if all that is true, it still fell on the police for failing to provide him medical treatment fast enough. They really did screw up there, for sure.

Some of the local media got busted for faking a bunch of the feel good stuff. That also came out today. Rumormill has it they committed a bunch of libel as well.

Quite a few news networks here in Virginia are showing the positive people cleaning up the mess.
Also saw this picture of citizens in Baltimore guarding the police, which is inspiring:

I have also seen some rumor articles circulating about Freddie Gray having spinal fusion surgery a week or so before the incident with the police, but so far, I haven't seen these allegations picked up by any major news outlets and until they are proven, obviously they are speculation.

You seem like you already have a very opposite opinion of my own.
Due to the fact I feel you are strong headed, and I am the same,
I'm going to politely decline from a debate/argument with you.
Since it will only end in senseless conflict since neither of our opinions on this will change.
Have a pleasant night, remember the media loves to lie for the cops!

If you watched the report, they turned their backs on the police to shame them. Or that's what the on the scene person claims.

I haven't heard about his spinal injuries, but with most cases of police brutality they bring up everything.
As someone stated before if he had medical care in a proper time setting he could still be here.
But again we will just have to wait to see what more comes into light.

The line is nice, but more so for the safety of protesters since I have heard LOTS of racists in the area,
Have been trying to urge protesters towards violence by harassing them.
Hopefully though things will settle down enough to where the national guard is called back.
And police can stop wearing the excessive amounts of amour.

Actually, I pulled this photo from the Facebook page of the person who took it - you can look him up and read his comments if you would like.

Pretty sure Fox News also reported that the civilians were protecting the police.
