AnimeTenchou wrote: Haha, disagreeing on anime wouldn't make things awkward, the anime community disagrees on about 99% of all things to do with anime anyway. Having a teacher who is into anime would be great though. Ah, I can just imagine some scraggly old physics professor who really loves shoujo or something... That would be hilarious or some massive pe teacher who has a boku no pico fetish ![]() |

I also have teachers like my AP Psych teacher, and Band Director, who would have more of a friend to friend status, than a Student to Teacher status. All my Ta's are boring ![]() |

I had a substitute teacher play miyazaki films to my 4th grade class in elementary school that also helped us draw Pokemon and Yugioh cards and knew about drawing anime style. I didn't realize it at the time but she was probably a big anime fan.

I think it would be really cool to have a full time teacher that liked anime. Then maybe I could get away with reading manga in class

I don't recall any of my teacher's or college professors being anime fans, or gamers for that matter. Granted, most were of the Boomer generation so I never really assumed such things interested them. There were a few cool ones that had no problem with us talking about anime or games inclass when we didn't have work to do.

I agree that would be cool, back when I was in high school the closest I got to an adult figure with my the same interests as me was the librarians assistant. He was into games, anime, comics all sorts of stuff.

What I would give to have a prof that would discuss anime with.. sounds super cool. The closest I had was a boss who I would talk about Fairy Tail with.. that was pretty sweet.

Well it would be for me since I like anime too, so i'd get along with them. But people who don't like anime would probably find the teacher annoying.
