Has anyone else read the light novel? It hasn't officially ended yet, but there is only 1 or 2 more left. Sadly our journey with Hikitani-kun will end this year.

Without spoiling anything I just thought all the character progression that will be happening in season 2 was amazing. Also the fact that the anime is following the light novel properly makes me happy.

If anyone is interested in reading it's split between these 2 sites:

Volumes 1-4 https://oregairuthetranslation.wordpress.com/

Volumes 5-10 https://kyakka.wordpress.com/

I was always a Yui x Hachiman man. I've crossed over to the Yukinon side now though.

I've been reading them right after season 2 started to get really good. I'm in volume 9 and I got to say I'm speechless on how well written the characters are; especially for a slice of life LN.

Yea once season 2 was announced I really wanted to catch up with the LN. Hachiman is a whole new man this season imo. I'm really hoping they include more Hiratsuka-sensei and Pan-san in the anime. Only thing I've been disappointed by thus far was they didn't show Yukino, Hachiman, and Hiratsuka actually go to the ramen stand...twice! Was kinda looking forward to that...

Just finished all the LN from 8-10 after watching season 1 and starting season2 and love both the show and the LN; but wish the show didnt cut so much stuff out; read the 3rd LN where they first meet Haruno and it was better in the novel also more pansan and why Yukino loves it so much. If anyone likes the show i would really recommend you read the Light novels; they get more in depth with the charachters.
