No it really doesnt. Sounds like a bad Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy monologue.

The rent is cheap, so getting paid in donations, goats, and virgins makes it worthwhile.

Are the goats virgins too?

(Hey, we've got frustrated high-schoolers and showoff starting-college kids stretching their question-authority wings, here, comes with the territory.
And, just possibly, overlapping with a few stoners who feel they have to look for "conspiracies" in daily life--"Shoes, man...Are they enforcing some bondage thing by making us tie them?")

Scooty-Bby Maybe the last time he came to do a property inspection was around 2000 years ago when the bible was supposedly written?

What makes you think it was an "inspection"?
It was 63 years until the reigning power of the western world would set out to genocide the only major monotheistic religion, which at the time was huddling under politically-repressed rituals that distrusted outsiders and spun guilt-stories of its deity as an unpredictable entity given to floods and retribution against those who fraternized with the wrong people, lest anyone question the social power-behind-the-throne authority of those placed in charge.

Somebody needed to do some positive spin-doctoring on a group of theological sitting-ducks, and fast, while there still was something to fix:
Sending along a motivational rep from the top office to say that the rituals didn't matter, the high mucky-mucks weren't in charge, talking to Romans wouldn't give you cooties, and that you could take your religion on the go even if the Romans did scatter the homeland and destroy the one physical center of it--as the physical aspect didn't matter--was sort of needed at that point, and the timing can't be put down to mere coincidence.
Any other questions?

It's more like the Father wants his kids to respect him and follow his advice for a better life. The Father also punishes his kids when they do wrong and sometimes leave them by themselves so they can grow and learn when they don't want to listen.

As for God's existence, I'm not religious, I don't go to church but I do believe in God. Don't think of him like one of our kind, he is no man. He is a spirit, he is everywhere. Call me crazy or anything but in my heart I know he exists and I have seen his work in my life.

Lets leave to my good man, Christopher Hitchens.

“God did not create man in his own image. Evidently, it was quite the other way about, which is the painless explanation for the profusion of gods and religions, and the fratricide both between and among faiths, that we see all about us and that has so retarded the development of civilization.”

Does anyone actually care if god exist or do they just want heaven to exist?

Ask someone coming out of depression how important it is to them that God exists.

Depends on how cynical you are I suppose.
Some people think god hates everybody who has sex, enjoys dancing, and has fun.
So they're clearly not in the heaven after death category.
Other people are only willing to believe in something if it benefits them.
Those people clearly are in the second category.

Some people just happen to like the idea of god and heaven, or thought about it and figured that it makes sense.
And others did the same and came to a different conclusion.
And others still don't believe in monotheism. It's a big world.

Don't know if this could apply to me because I'm not fully out of it...I suffer from depression, sometimes it gets better and sometimes I only think about suicide and stuff. God's existence is important to me, my depression and problems in life have nothing to do with it, if that's what you were implying.
