Hello, I have a question. If I want 'Azn hairstyle' what do I ask for at the hair dressers? currently I ask for it to be thinned and looks good when its short, however when it goes long it is in a mess! especially the fringe part as it has nasty gaps! lol, I can't fix it with wax as too much will make it look greasy or the stringy effect which is again bad. I've been browsing around, do I ask for layered? and should I just grow my hair for now? thanks.

i know exactly wat u are talking about! ahaha wen u ask to get ur hair thinned, tell them to thinen the top part only ( thats if u wana spike the top part) the fringe should be thick to aovid any nasty gaps.

lol ok I will try that next time, thanks for the reply.

so which is the most basic part that all asian cut it thinned and layered?
Posted 6/11/08
yep but it also means u have to have a cut that u can actually style. at some point my hair is too long in some parts to style even when its already thinned and layered, so u have to find the right lengths for ur hair, whether is it ur back, bangs, crown, or wutever it is. But other than that, yea its all about those

Well, grow out ur hair more then layer and thin. really no point in thinning with short hair cuz thinning's purpose is to make it easier to style with a longer hairstyle. so if u dont have long enough hair to layer then dont thin

Btw, vancouver is the best place on earth to live.

don't worry. i bleached my hair blond before too.
just make sure you condition your hair enough.

anyway, looking from your pictures, i feel that you need to layer your hair first. use a strong and sticky hair product because that is the best for forming spikes. remember to wash off your hairspray properly when you're showering.
