We're a little over two hours away from the start of one of my favorite events of the year. Usually by now we have some sort of idea of how the first round will shake out, but this year, we don't know anything right now except Jameis Winston being selected first. So what do you guys think will happen? What do you think/want your favorite teams to do?

I posted a mock draft on my Tumblr account for those interested in checking it out.

Being a Seahawks fan I honestly have no idea what Pete Carroll and John Schneider have in store for us this year. Those two are full of surprises... There's a chance we'll be trading our OLB Bruce Irvin though since we opted to pass on his 5th year option. He's from Atlanta and our old Defensive Coordinator is now their head coach so maybe he'll go to the Falcons for something. Who knows... I'm excited though!

I would definitely welcome an Irvin trade to Atl. That way the Saints would have a better chance of getting Beasley or Dupree without having to trade up (Wouldn't mind trading up for Dupree, not sure about Beasley).

Update: No surprise. Winston goes first. Titans decide to stand pat and take Mariota. I'm 2/2 so far, already better than last year!

First round pick is someone who steals crab legs.

Jaguars take Fowler over Leonard Williams. Mild surprise. Raiders now on the clock, this should be good.

Update: Oakland goes with Amari Cooper. Good one.

Gurley in the top 10 is a steal.
Especially if he comes back healthy like Jamal Lewis did.

Almost time for Saints pick, and Dupree is still on the board. Fingers crossed.

I hope they trade back up to get Dupree, 13 wasn't a good spot in this draft and a tackle while not a huge need was the best option. (aaaaand he's gone)

With Dupree off the board now, I'm guessing Saints look at defensive line if Malcolm Brown continues to drop, or maybe wide receiver.

I'm a big fan of the NFL Draft myself and am excited to see a thread about it here! I was at work when it started, but I was following it online. I am not surprised that Winston went first. I am excited to see who trades up.

Packers are up. Better take Kendricks here.

Update: Surprised by the Randall pick by GB. Not a bad pick for Saints with Stephone Anthony. Biggest need taken care of.

Stephone Anthony has the body for the inside and can move pretty well in coverage. Hopefully they can get his technique fixed up so the Saints won't keep getting burned by runs up the gut.

Curious what they do in round 2 now. Could get really interesting if Gregory or Strong is there at 44.

I'm surprised there are people talking about the draft on here. That aside I'm completely pissed the Eagles took Nelson Agholor I wanted the Patriots to take him. I guess Malcom Brown is pretty good though. Also mad the damn cowboys took Byron Jones.

Not sure whether my Chargers reached a bit for Gordon. In Telesco we trust!
