Everyone, I'm sorry for not doing my research hard enough! I'm sorry for getting people's hopes up clamming that the Fist of the North Star Movie on VHS with a different bar code is uncensored. I'll be taking the blame! But Toei is the cause of destroying films and censoring anime franchise. Toei is the Japanese 4Kids Entertainment. Toei censored Toriko anime from Manga and caused it to be cancelled from air. Toei edits the original film elements from Dragon Ball Z with cuts and censors to create Dragon Ball Kai. One Piece's new episodes may not have blood at all for future broadcasts in Japan. Blame Toei Animation.

So...what was the purpose of this thread again? I mean, whoo-hoo for your purchase if the tape in question is really all that rare, but what are we supposed to talk about?

hmm, interesting, a friend of my mom's used to run a Video rental store and when they moved they had a freaking ton of VHS tapes that they had to get rid of so we kinda ended up having them. a lot of 80's and 90's movies, random shows, porn, saw a few Dragon ball Z and pokemon, and even power rangers. never went through all of them boxes though, there was like 40 boxes filled to the top with tapes that took half the garage. now I'm thinking I should have went through them.

Of course! How could I miss it? You're not really an anime fan unless you've seen the version of Fist of the North Star where the blood is a different colour and there's more of it. All those years of watching anime I've done? Meaningless! Shelf, after shelf, after shelf of VHS tapes, DVDs, Blu Ray discs, manga volumes, figures, all of it worthless unless I have a copy of a VHS tape from the 1990s with a particular serial number! I've wasted my life, Sonic! I'VE WASTED MY LIFE!!!!

Offence? Who's offended? I'm having a great time joking around.

I'm happy for your purchase, but I suppose the only way this is going to go forward is if we talk about other things we were psyched to buy. I'm pretty happy to have a copy of Sailor Moon: Another Story.

Don't worry about it. We're all anime fans!

We are only joking. No worries, haha.

I might have seen it. I remember a friend in high school made me watch that movie when I visited his house. I do not recall the exact colours, only that it was far too graphic for my taste.
But to each their own, it is cool that your anime passion is so strong that you buy VHS tapes on eBay.

*looks at topic question*

That might be the most oddly specific question ever asked on Crunchyroll.

You can't call yourself a true anime fan unless you own a U.S 1994 VHS copy of the Fist of the North Star Anime Movie uncensored with the catalog code of 1000311.

Buncha scrubs.
