I thought that at first they were disabled because they didn't want the videos to be spoiled right away, but seeing how it applies to series that aren't currently airing I guess that's not the case. It's only been a day, but I hope they inform us of what's going on.

If this has been going on for almost a day, I'm really disappointed CR didn't send an email notification out regarding the issue, especially to their premium customers. What you're seeing sounds to me like two different things, as I haven't seen recent complaints where they occur together. Anyhow, it's a bummer.


Probably. That is, commenting has been switched off while they fix something that broke. But I'd like to see something official about this inconvenience.

@blairnoel ASIDE from comments beign disabled why don't you try watching the video in different definition let's say you want to watch on 1080 change it to 720p and if still freezes keep going until you hit standard def. IF that didn't resolve anything then is your computer is the problem I suggest you do a disk cleanup.

I'm having a similar issue where i cant select higher resolution on older videos and only get 2mins of the new ones. it redirects me to become a member then tells me i can't as im already a member lol. CR Fix your bugs please before you send out updates.

This has happened before in August last year apparently it might be under maintenance so I guess we will have to be patient.

As far as I can tell, since you're not a premium member, the video difficulty you describe is actually proper behavior.

Actually, per info in another thread, someone later gave him a guest pass -- he'd not previously been showing up as premium.

This exact situation has happened before, and the last time they took over a week to fix it without any sort of official feedback or updates as to the situation.

I don't mind if the comments had to be taken down to fix something, but I'd prefer it not to last a week, and I think we're at least entitled to some kind of official notice/thread/update/whatever as to what is going on. Otherwise to most users it just looks like random features on the site are broken.
