One anime that left an impact on me was Revolutionary Girl Utena. I remember during my teen years, I had this "not like other girls" mindset. I made some horrible comments about girls that like feminine things (dresses, romance stories, etc.). This show got me out of that mindset by showing how that behavior is harmful and not cool at all.

Probably most recently Terror in Resonance and Shin Sekai Yori, i thought both of them really had really developed moralistic ideas and definitely made me question some things.

It sounds hilariously stupid, but I definitely have to say Love Live! School Idol Project. It was perhaps the first series where I was so attached to the characters that tears were dripping down my face in the last few episodes of the first season. I have never cried like that at anything else and I don't think it'll ever change. The excellently done, memorable soundtrack really helped, and even listening to their first live together gives off so much feels for some reason.

I'd probably have to say Yakitate Japan. It really got me interested in baking (and cooking more in general). I'd love to open my own bakery someday.

Also Grave of the Fireflies 'cause it's the first thing I've ever watched, live or animated, that ever made me cry outright.

I should also mention Welcome to the NHK, because man that hit close to home at the time.

A lot.
If emotionally speaking,
Clannad and Angel Beats.

Though Durarara left a lot of things in me.

Before I saw Clannad, I thought I was this tough guy that wouldn't be shaken by emotion. I think Clannad was the beginning of my emotional humility.

Fullmetal Alchemist : Brotherhood, holy *quack* that anime left such a big impression on me, and it is my favorite anime to date and till there is another adaption (I'm betting there will be when Squeenix needs money). When my friend first got me to watch it, I didn't care for it, but after the first two episodes I was hooked, it's what got me back into anime after not watching any since the days of Zatch(Gash) Bell being dubbed, it showed me what a really good anime is like, no anime have come up to the same standard as FMA:B in my mind, Hunter x Hunter is close, but still, nothing will be able to take the place in FMA:B and I'm fine with that. A simple farm-girl made a masterpiece.

For me it has to be Watamote (No matter how i look at it, it's you guys fault I'm not popular.)

I really connected with Tomoko on an emotional level, her character goes through a drastic version of how I feel on a day to day basis. Watching her try to overcome her weaknesses and slightly improving every time, just inspired me to do the same. I've never wanted to reach into the screen and pull a character out of their world into mine, just so I can hold them in my arms and tell them it's all going to be okay.
