I am finding that even at 720p i am getting severe stutter in playbacks at full resolution.

1080p playback is unwatchable.

what is odd, is the sound plays normally, but the video is jerky like it it dropping 3-7 frames every 2-3 seconds.

backing out of fullscreen solves the problem, but then i am left with a tiny window the size of an iPhone 5s with which to view the shows.

i have checked my network traffic, and its nowhere near my transmission cap, hovering around 2mbps.

i have tried using the "problems with playback" advice thought those links.

looking for advice on how to fix this.

also, this issue is not happening on any other services i have. Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube all play video back at normal speeds and without the herky-jerky effects.

Out of curiosity, which browser are you using? Chrome can sometimes have a bug where it detects two versions of flash installed on your computer, and it can cause severe framerate issues in flash players.

If you do have chrome, type "about:plugins" in the address bar. On the far right, there should be a plus button with "Details" next to it. Click that and scroll down until you see flash. If there are two instances, click disable on the one that DOESN'T say pepperflash in the location section.

If you're using firefox, just for the sake of checking on things, try internet explorer and see if that fixes the lag. Then we can go from there.

This is what i see when i go to that page. I do not see two types of flash players, but then i don't know what i am looking for.
This is a brand new install on a brand new computer, so i have not really customized anything except for running basic updates.
(it is a custom i built myself, so the only things on here are a few games, chrome, steam, and windows)

(chrome://plugins) shows I have:

Try removing the browser cache and cookies. It happens to me sometimes. And my go-to fix is always to delete the cache and cookies. I don't know if it will work in your case, but its worth testing it.

i tried that, and it doesn't work. maybe its a chrome issue?

i really don't want to go dig up Intertube Explorderp and check, but i just might have to.

What confuses me, is i can stream anything from anywhere else and not run into this problem, its just here on Crunchyroll.

I think it's a Chrome issue too . You need to watch CR thru IE . Or I'll just swap you my 2 GTX 470s for those Titans !

so i went and tried Internet Explorer.

Video runs flawlessly.

The problem is: Internet Explorer is a pathogen to the world of browsers and should be eradicated.
I feel as if my computer is somehow tainted after using it.

How can i watch crunchyroll videos in a normal browser that does not suck?
(specifically Chrome)
