microbiology and immunology

(I've never blown up my face though, I've heard of stories where it happened to other poor souls... but in my head, I'm just thinking, "How could you blow up in undergraduate science? The instructions are clear and they don't give you any hazardous chemicals... I can see it happening in Postgraduate courses)

Wait...poverty?

Poverty is the considered traditional destiny of English Literature majors."Publish or Perish".But hey ,don't listen to me.Follow your dream. I'll save you a spot next to me on the assembly line. We'll have great discussions.Oh wait, it will have to be the next spot down.Next to me is a 52 year old with a 5 year business degree.Believe it or not that's the truth.

I've never had chemicals blow up in undergraduate science (I never really played with chemicals ), but I've burned myself more times than I can count.

Mostly on resistors. the difference between 10 and 10K is not to be taken lightly. Typically when troubleshooting circuits, I'll remove a resistor to see if it makes any change on the output signal. If the resistor is off by a few orders of magnitude in a high current/high voltage region, the thing can be quite hot.

Actually my sister got a degree in Social Services which could be construed euphemistically as just that.
