Criminal Justice. It got me thinking that studying just about anything could be interesting, but I'm sticking with it since I'm already in it and have a job of it in the field.

I have a B.A. and M.A. in English. Now that's called variety! All it essentially means is I've polished my conspiracy-conjuring skills.

I majored in Modern Languages, Literature and Culture with a double minor in English and Anthropology... pending completion, however, as the program I took for my major experienced staffing issues (the uni wouldn't pay to renew international work visas, so three professors couldn't return) and after three years, well, you just kinda don't want to change your major after the school tells you it's "not their fault" you can no longer get enough credits for the major you chose, and that no, you won't get any money back for the 25 courses you've already completed before the program was cut off, since you know, you can "change your career path" (um, ok, and if I don't want to?). And only eight of those courses have credits you can transfer to another institution of your choice... Oh, but you can now do a major in one of your previous minors (which will only tack on another three years of study, at full tuition cost of $7 465 PLUS living expenses, yay! Not like I'm already 40 000 in debt or anything!!!). And you can make a triple minor out of *some* of the courses you already took in three of the four languages you studied... So there will only be about ten courses YOU PAID FOR THAT WON'T ADD UP TO ANYTHING (yes, two semesters. An entire year... down the drain).

Ok, ok. I'm done ranting.

So, kids... Make sure the program you choose is favored at your institution of choice, cause guess what. DEBT SUCKS. Especially without the degree.

PS
I actually went to a great university, and I'd still recommend it to prospective students. However, their Modern Language department... not so much.

East Asian studies (focusing on Japanese history) with a minor in chemistry. I'm now doing a graduate degree in library science.

(I've never blown up my face though, I've heard of stories where it happened to other poor souls... but in my head, I'm just thinking, "How could you blow up in undergraduate science? The instructions are clear and they don't give you any hazardous chemicals... I can see it happening in Postgraduate courses)

I think it depends on the course; in my advanced organic chemistry lab, we had several steps that used chemicals that exploded/ignited on contact with air. The worst that happened in that lab though was someone's experiment imploding (literally) halfway through the semester.

I'm barely finishing my freshman year, so I have a long way to go.

I was a psych major, but I had a lot of issues with the field in general. Are you planning to go to graduate school and get certified? That's like the only way to get enough out of your degree to make it worthwhile.

I took a Psychology course last year. I made a 50% on the final but a "B" in the class. I did all of my assignments during that class, but I kinda forgot everything i learn. It's like I have some distortion in my brain that's preventing me to remember what I learned. I should visit a Psychiatrist this summer. That way I can learn more about the Psychology field, and find out if I have mental issues, or if I just need therapy.

Psychology and history here too, i do some classes on economics too

I took Communications class this semester. I've been doing well in this class. I've only failed two assignment from the beginning of the semester.
As for history I been doing average. History in college isn't easy as people think it is. Those In-Class Cognition will lower your grade drastically.
I'm considering of changing my major to Communications.
