If you could choose from any Government known to man, which would you choose?

Or would you make your own? And if you did what would it be like?

If I had my own government, it would not be like many other people would have. It would be a Government where everything is free, but in order for this to work everyone that was able would have to work towards it. It wouldn't be as much of a Government as a 'Civil Society', everything you could need would be free but there is a limit to how much you can take. You could get a certain amount of electronics per year (Unless some break), you would get a certain amount of food per week per person (Based on metabolism). Healthcare would be free as well.

There are some 'chinks' in my preferred 'Government' but I'm sure it could be 'Ironed out'.

Please obey all Crunchyroll rules.

Communist democracy. A common misconception is that communism and authoritarianism go hand-in-hand, but that isn't really the case.

Whichever one results in everyone being peace loving hippies, where all join hand in hand and sing kumbaya.

....Oh, what's that? That would be none of them? Well, than I guess democracy or something like how the UK governs their people *shrugs*

Laissez-faire or free-market capitalism. No government involvement in business, privatization of everything. Success to those who come out ahead in business, like in the real world, no classless popularity contests and communal living, such things are hardly devoid of corruption. OCP and Shinra for life! (Yes I'm just playing.lol.)

I'm not a political science major, such "what-if" scenarios, conjecture, and speculation isn't my area of interest.

Do I think we should worship Cuba, the former USSR or Communist China? No. Look closer at any of those three and tell me the good you see. If you can get it to work without it falling apart or becoming isolated like Cuba then congrats.

As for some form of socialism (true socialism and not national socialism( I hope, see fascism, something very different)) closer to the UK, I could live with that, but it wouldn't make sense to me professionally why I would want that over the current US system..

Decentralized Competing Government, like the States in America were suppose to be under the US Constitution. State taxes too high, free to move to a state with less government spending. Everything decided locally with basic limits on too much anarchy or totalitarian tendencies. Limits corruption as locals know what is happening in their neighborhoods. Freedom of open movement, takes one year to establish new residency and Citizenship after the next five years. How open you are to newcomers determines the qualities of those who you attract in your governments area.

Anyone who has seen Cross Ange knows what this means.

We view the anime from the raw end of the deal, but you gotta admit you would love to be on his side. It's a utopia if you forget the fact that you have a chance to give birth to a daughter that will be completely shunned by society and forced to slay dragons. But hey, that is the worst that can happen! No rape, no murder, only racism toward 1% of the entire population of the world. Sounds pretty good to me.

Some sort of pseudo socialism where all basic needs are fully provided for but with very high reward incentive for personal achievement. The main problem with traditional socialism/communism is people have no motivation to work since they will never get more than they already have so society stagnates and doesn't progress (technologically, artistically, etc). I think it would be ideal to ensure there are no poor or hungry but still reward people who go above and beyond and benefit society (anything from running a really popular business to making a scientific breakthrough). There is absolutely no problem with and income gap so long as the people at the bottom are fine.

dictatorship first and conquer the world then set up a system similar to the hommunculus program bradley participated in,except instead of ruthlessly cull the bright youth looking for a dictator, instead look for the qualities that are needed to advance the human race as a leader and work out a process that identifies and cultivates these personality traits, then assign the best and brightest to the correct positions of power the rest are given jobs based on what they have tested to enjoy/excel at, when they dropout depending on the phase they are in they return to normal society/their parents.

Idealistically, I would want some sort of government that is focused on individuals and individual's needs and goals. After people finish high school, they have the choice of going into 3 jobs of their choosing for 1 year, considering they've passed the aptitude tests for those 3 particular subjects. Then on the 2nd year, they get to pick the one that they enjoyed the most. And learn the extra theories and skills on the job.
This would allow people to get a feel of what they like doing and what they don't like doing, and which boss they get along with etc. Without wasting time studying for a degree, only to not be able to find a job for that field or... worse... found out they no longer enjoy that subject.
It would also add productivity to the workforce in general. And decrease unemployment after high school.

After 3 years of learning on the job, they would get a qualification and they would go to a higher income and start to pay more tax. And if they want to change jobs, then they would have to start from minimal wage again. But they would be able to get into a job immediately, and they don't need to have a "qualification" beforehand.

One where money in politics and elections is limited. One where we don't give more money (or start taking less) to billionaires, to then turn around and starve the poor even more. One where we don't call people working 40 hours a week, but still needing help with food "moochers." Finally, a government that doesn't have half or so of it's members just dedicating their time to attempt to discriminate against other races, women, and those of a sexual preference other than straight.

Can you see who it is I don't like in the American government? =D
