Oh that's right. There's those pesky laws, that nebulous thing called professional ethics ,Board and peer revue ,and then not to mention licensing to practice, that might just get in the way of some of your attention getting scenarios.

They should not be able to do anything that has a direct and foreseeable physical harm since these surgeons are still doctors and ought to stick to their oaths.

Mere alteration of physical appearance without impacting physical function is probably okay, although I do sometimes think that people who get lots of cosmetic surgery without physical defects should be psychologically evaluated after a set number of procedures. Maybe this is a conservative view.

I think the surgeon should do what the patient wants.
