No idea whats causing it but its definitely on multiple platforms. Everyone from chromecast to apple tv to computers is having the issue, its definitely gotta be on Cruchyrolls side and not any of the platforms

After a convention where I got introduced to a number of shows that i wanted to watch, I finally made the decision to give CR premium a try (especially since they were offering a 2 week trial). I love the content available, but the lagging is damn annoying. I've tried switch DNS's, checking to see if anyone else is using the internet at the same time (I have multiple users in my home) and the problem is still there.

I get better reception on my smartphone than I do on my PC, and that's a damn shame. I won't say that CR on my PC is useless, but it just feels dumb that my smartphone can receive videos much better than my PC.

When I compare CR to, say Netflix, in terms of video streaming quality, CR is lacking. Now I understand CR won't have NF's numbers, but when you're used to the seemless quality of the NF stream, you kinda expect CR (or any streaming site) to be on par.

I really hope they devote more time, energy, and resources, to making the streaming experience better and more hassle (and lag) free.

In the meantime, I'll keep with the premium for now (I hate ads lol), but if I find that the lags and freezes become too much, I suppose I'll have no choice, but to cancel my subscription and watch the shows elsewhere. I don't mind paying, but when paying for service, a customer usually expects quality.
