I live in Norway. So whatever that affect America doesn't affect me in the slightest.

Not sure if this is a troll post or the OP is seriously as paranoid as he sounds. His logic is that if you don't know explicitly someone/something isn't doing something horrible you should just assume it is. So I should basically assume every person I meet is a sociopath simply because I don't know explicitly that he/she is not one. Or you could function like a normal non paranoid human being and only assume bad things when there is evidence suggesting bad things (the vast majority of the people in the world are not sociopaths so you have no reason to assume the worst). As far as the government goes the vast majority of what it does is totally fine and people only seem to point the controversial things that are somewhat questionable (and even then its no where near as bad as the ridiculous things the OP suggested).

If you're truly convinced that your government isn't also hiding corrupt or possibly morbid secrets from you. I'm not so specific on the US, no governing powers can ever be 100% trusted

I don't assume the worst about everyone... But if they hold a position of office, that changes

I thought that was only true in Switzerland, which isn't part of scandinavia

Yep the greys, reptilians, bigfoot and of course the tall man all have a meeting once a month about how to cover up and hide things from the populace.

Of course the government is hiding area 51 from outsiders of course there are bound to be secrets, its called classified information and you don't need to know.

You do understand that anyone hold any sort of political office (especially in the US) goes through more public and private scrutiny than any normal person ever does? People holding political offices are much less likely to have committed any crime or done any sort of illicit things in their entire life than the average citizen. Your fears are misguided.

I'm not much into the belief in aliens or stuff like that...

Mostly, I fear that the government might have secret prisons where the secret police take people viewed as a threat. Of course, the question.. If that's true, why don't they abduct me for saying that, since the NSA is spying on us... Well... If I had enough influence and power to impact society with my comments... Like if I were MLK or something.. then there's a possibility I might come up "missing" due to a little CIA help. We could have Stalin sitting in congress or the white house and we'd never even know it.

FIrst the NSA isnt spying on you, they have bigger fish to fry than some lowly no named guy on a anime site talking trash.

Second Stalin is dead man he would be around 140+ years old if he were still alive today.

Paranoia isn't healthy when it gets to your level, its fun to joke around about how the government might be up to something but when you get serious and rant about it, it becomes sad.

Tell that to Chris Christie.
Technically, most of them are not criminals or breaking laws...
However, if the government is secretly doing evil stuff, then would it be illegal? I mean.. is it against the law, for the government to capture people secretly and subject them to torture akin to the movie "Hostel"?

Regardless, if it's done secretly, it may as well be legal. Remember the Syphilus tests, and MK-Ultra, and the false monkey expirement that banned marijuana... America has a history of doing the stuff I talked about.

And without this system of checks and balances, America would become a totalitarian dictatorship now. All they need to do is nationalize the police and get rid of states rights to nullify. If they can do that, America will become a Nazi regime. Hell... When the Sedition acts were passed back in the day, the federalist party temporarily turned the US into a regime akin to Stalin or Mao.
If it weren't for nullification, we would be a tyrannical dictatorship now.

So if America can turn into an evil dictatorship back then, it's not impossible now.

You know what I mean.. someone like Stalin. In fact, I believe if it weren't for the democratic system, half of elected representatives would be willing to seize power like he did if they could get away with it.
The NSA isn't spying on me specifically, because I'm not someone influential like MLK. Like I said, if I could make a difference in this country, they would spy on me illegally.

And me saying stuff like this is consistent with the US governments track record

Look at US history... You're telling me a country, with a history of doing evil acts unknown to it's people, until several decades later... is now somehow no longer doing that, despite being bigger than what it once was.
Despite the fact that the govenrment here is relatively powerful, and we have organizations like the secret service
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuskegee_syphilis_experiment

You think the government couldn't do the same thing now if they wanted to?
Who's gonnna stop them? No one can.
'
To me, trusting the government is like dating a cheating woman, and repeatedly leaving her, and coming back expecting her not to do it again.

How do you know there are no child sex slaves given to any of our elected representatives?

Why bother, when they have interns?

How do you know there's not a a secret room in the white house for human sacrifice to pagan gods?

Because "Muslims" don't do that.

What's at area 51?

The Lost Ark, of course.
