No they are not.

Maybe, maybe not I can't say for sure since it depends, but I think morbidhanson's view is the most probable however if you were to utter a curse to someone wither it be a chant or a just wishing someone harm with their knowing then that psychological phenomenon that he layed out would be likely to come to fruition so in the scenario that it happens then it would "work" in a sense. Semantics though.

Lil B's basedgod curse seems to be real enough for Kevin Durant lol.

Jokes aside, I don't believe in superficial crap. Things happen and life goes on. Those things are only real in your mind.

And a story is all that it probably is. If I want a good one I have plenty of other sources to turn to.

Have you ever heard of Pele's Curse? Long story short, if you visit Hawaii, never take home rocks, sand, or coral.

Depends. If you practice witchcraft/wicca and have "faith" in whatever spell you're trying to cast, it'll come true.

Yes, although the perception of what constitutes as a curse can greatly differ from opinions.

I believe the term is "synchronicity".
My personal belief: It is unlikely that your "spell" was a direct, singular cause of his malady.
However, your evil thoughts could certainly be a factor, particularly if his bullying extended to other students, making it likely that other students echoed your vile sentiment.
Demons aren't real. Man is the true origin of evil. Pentagrams and the like only have power to the extent they exert it on the subconscious mind. In other words, slightly less than a cross or a Nike swoosh.
But evil thoughts create evil events. In some cases, by driving the body to an evil deed. In other cases, by causing the tongue to utter evil words. In yet others... well as an "evil eye" is always sensed by one whom it's gaze is cast upon... many evil glances could have a negative impact on one's psyche. Which could, in turn, cause someone to commit suicide. Or, alternatively, cause such a great degree of stress that the body becomes at greater risk of developing a health problem...
Not the most eloquent explanation to be sure, but hopefully you understand.
As for the "moral of the story", don't be so arrogant. Filling yourself with hate destroys you more surely than it does others.

I use to not think so but recently... well since the start of this year my life has been a series of unfortunate events. So much random bad luck has accumulated within just the last 5 months than my entire lifetime. It's starting to challenge my belief system.
